I'm doing a survey, just for school related purposes. So if you own and play BeamNG.drive, it will really help me if you check it up and send an answer. It is completely anonymous and the overall results should be visible for devs or anyone else to view. https://forms.gle/jyKkKsJFeFeFT8nr9
To the user who has 480 mods I just wanna know what it’s like to run that many mods. You’re game must be slooooooow.
For real though... anything over like... 20 on my system and you can start to feel the UI slowing down... I can't even imagine...
This is probably the only game I've ever spent the most time on other than sonic the hedgehog on sega genesis as a kid.
Hmm my oldest BeamNG version is currently using 106 mods and it doesn't really seems to bother my system. Okay the UI is a little slower ( seriously slower ) then 0.18 but without the mods I'm sure it would be quite that much slower too. I mean it's like waiting for 2-3 secs of reaction time sometimes when 0.18 is like 0.5-1.5 secs of reaction time. When I make multiple changes at once I pause the game anyway and it doesn't bother me at all. On top of that my pc is far from new... Just filled in the form btw.
I used to have over 800 mods and let me just say it took 30 minutes or more to load the vehicle selector. it was amazing
There's gonna be those GTA fans and game fans in general that want games like BeamNG.Drive to have features where you can shoot people in them and there's people out there that like violent video games that involve shooting people. We just gotta live with it.
Games aren’t violent unless you make them violent. Just because GTA has guns doesn’t mean people have be violent. People roleplay, have car meets, etc. It’s mostly tryhards now but it’s easy to find nonviolent people on it.
I would have to think that he has 80% deactivated at any one time, but that they all sit in the queue ready to go at a moment’s notice? That’s my guess anyway. So that they’re technically in there, just not necessarily all active.
