yeah a stolen idea i get it but havent seen a thread like this around so here it is and artist i quite like nowadays is C418: https://c418.bandcamp.com I suggest is albums One, 148, and Excursions. he does electronic ambiance, mostly. some songs contain vocals. His stuff is quite weird, so look into it at your own risk (not like edgy, just very off the wall, weird, he's-defined-his-own-genre stuff.) also love Queen, Led Zeppelin, and most other artist from the 60's-80's. ELO, AC/DC, Boston, Kansas, Styx, Elton John, Journey. The Gorillaz and old Coldplay are good. have at it people. Forgive me if I am blind and this has already been done lol
Dan Mason, Waterfront Dining, </body> are my favorites. Think future funk, vaporwave and elevator music mixed together. My favorite is Summer Melody by Dan Mason.
Top 3: Killing Joke, Ministry, 3TEETH Also Queens of the Stone Age, Boy Harsher, Kelly Bailey (the Half-Life guy) Seriously you gotta listen to Killing Joke! They went from punk to new-wave to metal, and Dave Grohl himself played drums on their 2003 album. Ministry was similar, they started new-wave and went into metal (really more hard rock than metal, at least until after Animositisomina), though their latest album is garbage even if you agree with it politically. They got fucked by Nuclear Blast, worst record company. 3TEETH is like Ministry 2.0, they're fairly new and show a lot of promise.
Fueled By Raman is another shit one, ADTR and Panic! At The Disco signed up to them and sound poppy as hell now (and that's a genuine argument, they no longer have a heavy or rock edge to them anymore that they used to behold). Anyways, for one of my favorite bands: Deftones. Love their experimental and techy sound, especially with shit like Change (In The House of the Flies) or My Own Summer. Chino Moreno's vocal style rocks my socks off, they're that good. Personal favorite songs are "Back To School", "When Girls Telephone Boys", "Gore", and the 2 aforementioned songs. You gotta admit, they had a pretty good influence in the metal scene and still are fucking great as they were back then. Another one (ngl I find this band very underrated) is Kadinja: My god, they have possibly one of the best metal styles I've ever fucking heard so far, and I never get old listening to any of their songs over and over. DNA is a really good "cover album", Super '90 and Ascendancy are very technical and absolute bangers, and overall superb material! Although they do have a pretty decent audience now, they still deserve some more popularity and attention compared to what they have now (although they have gathered a lot more attention when they released their music video for Falling Away From Me). Interestingly enough, they come from France (there are a few songs in Ascendancy and Super '90 that have a French-sounding title), which tbf is pretty neat considering France really lacks any music scene that people can really give a shit about.
According to Spotify statistics - The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, The Kinks, The Beatles, Cream, Faces, T-Rex.
I'm sorry for the bump, but I would like to say that a musician that I like/love is 311. If you are unaware of 311. 311 are a rock band from Nebraska. Anyways, I think 311 are awesome. The vocals are good and the music is really catchy. By the way, I actually like 311 more then The Beatles. By the way, as of me writing this. I have 311 messages =D
Whatever the current earworm is at the moment. Current earworms are Pendulum, Pivit, Foo Fighters, and Knife Party. Bands I'm always in the mood for are Tool, SOAD, and early Green Day.
I like pretty much anything from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. If I had to pick a favorite, probably the Eagles.
