Okay then, please let me know if you have more crappy musicians that you dislike/hate. Oh yeah, by the way. I'm curious as to what you think of the song "Last Christmas" by Taylor Swift.
I can't say I hate Billie Eilish because she's a good singer (imo), but the whole edgy/moody vibe ruins her music. However, I will say this: Bad Guy is a guilty pleasure of mine as well as Everything I Wanted.
Screamo is a thing. You don't appear to differentiate it from metal, that's just you buddy as for Bad guy... I like it, not because of the lyrics
Because it's a name some people use to justify metal being a bad genre, it's not an actual genre in itself. I can guarantee you, say that to any other metalhead and you will get shat on. Just sayin'.
I think there are metalheads who use the term "screamo", but you are correct about non-metalheads using it to justify metal being a "bad genre". Anyways, have you heard "Last Christmas" by The Big Bad Taylor yet?
Okay, so apparently it is an subgenre for emo, but I usually see it to call metal bands or the whole genre shit. Didn't know that it was even a subgenre, but then again I only knew it because of people misusing it only to offend the metal genre by calling it screamo instead. I honestly hate how convoluted the use of genre names are, it's always used for something that doesn't fit with it and it boils down to flame-warring over who's right and wrong...
Dubstep. No, there isn't an artist named Dubstep. I'm talking about the genre as a whole. --- Post updated --- Oh and I hate covers of hip hop songs, especially Humble covers: And Skrillex. Bleeeuugh. f**k you Skrillex. Why do actual artists have to die and then people like you come to the music industry?
I can't say I blame you for not liking dubstep. By the way @JDMguy05, I listened to Justin Bieber's new song "Yummy" and it has "wonderful" lyrics such as "Yeah, you got that yummy, yum", "Fifty-fifty, love the way you split it", and "watch the sunset kinda". By the way, I have 2 questions for you. 1. What do you think of the actual music quality (not the lyrics, but the actual music) of "Yummy" by Justin Bieber? 2. What do you think of Justin Bieber's song "Baby"?
Well, I never heard Billie Eilish’s music (if you can even call it that) until today. Now I have to agree with you guys that it is terrible.
I heavily dislike Taking Back Sunday. Brand New is just far far far better. Taking Back Sunday is music made by edgelords, by edgelords. Brand New tends to be more deep and less dramatic than TBS.
Probably the allegations against Jesse Lacey, the lead singer. It's messed up for sure, but I still listen to them pretty often. It always tends to come out about rock singers eventually in their career.
Eminem post-Recovery. Honestly, I really lost the desire to listen to any of his newer stuff as I felt much of his music downgraded and didn't evoke the same power that he did prior (albeit Encore and Relapse weren't his greatest albums, the newer ones just didn't sit well with me as, say, The Slim Shady LP. I also never bothered to listen to Kamikaze or his very brand new album, especially with how poorly Revival did with fans and such. I'm not saying he's now terrible because of how rap evolved, but he really didn't swell well with changing his style, and eventually I got tired of him. Might listen to his old stuff every now and then, but Ice Cube and DMX is more of my thing nowadays.
