Drag Racing Enthusiast

Am I the only one who enjoy realistic drag racing? I bet not, so i'm looking for people who would be willing to share there 1/4 mile time and car setup just for fun and maybe end up in a sort of friendly competition!

 

New personal record: 6.636 seconds on the 1/4 mile and 0-100kmh in 1.27 seconds!

 

How do you even keep it going in a straight line? I always crash anything with much power.

 

I use the Meo's Drag Parts pack (https://www.beamng.com/resources/meos-drag-parts-pack.10968/), it adds bigger drags tire and you can ajust the grip of the tires so it help a lot to keep it in a straight line with that much power!

 

Nice! I’m only doing low 7’s at the mo and the engine is destroyed at the end of the run.

I might have to take some photos tonight.

 

what map/scenario are you using?

There's a mod called ''Indestructible engine block'', I use it so the engine don't blow up because the insane amount of power

 

6.295! I saw this thread and wanted to pitch in as the new record holder so far. I do have like 70 mods installed so I couldn't list them all, but can tell you the main ones I'm using. The car is a Civetta Bolide with the "Bolide Track Toy" mod for the cart. I have some sort of wheel mod for 24 inch rear wheels. I thought customizing grip on tires was cheating so I never did that. Customizable engine mod. It makes just under 5,400HP. I gave it a sequential transmission and I'm shifting manually with my Logitech G920 shifter. It took me like 50 trys before I got down the strip without crashing. Actually I was just starting to spin out of control when I crossed the line. I've spent hours on it and could spend several more. I'm trying to get to 5.999.

 

Damn! My setup is a gavril marshal with 4,300hp and 14 inchs rims with oversized tire (335/70/15 instead of 335/50/15)

I've genuinely been enjoying playing with all of the drag cars. Managed to run this with the help of Meo's drag mods and more drag transmissions. I'll be happy if I can make it to the 5s.

Its not a very realistic setup but a simple one
Grand Marshal with my Custom V8 with little less than 6000Hp out of the 13.4L V8, 6Speed Drag Trans RWD, 15x14 Drag Tires in the rear, without a wheelie bar, Car weighs about 1329Kg and has 6.5 Bar Boost (and little spikes to 7.5Bar) and is fully stripped but has a wing for downforce. Was suprised how fast this car went when you control the throttle right

 

this is the default Barstow drag VS. My Barstow with [RK]'s v8 engine, meo's drag parts, and a 6 speed drag spec trans. its fastest time is actually a 5.48 @ 256 but i forgot a screenshot and could not duplicate

 

Still need to figure out how much HP this is pushing.

 

6.26's. Consistent. D series long bed, 49xxHP, 4 speed manualised auto, lots of tuning. Trying to get into the 5,s but the D series chassis is at its limit currently

 

Stock inline 6 diesel engine with stronger internals, more boost, 312kW at 48PSI and 800kW with nitrous, AWD, 4 speed drag gearbox with transbrake and heavy converter

Petrol inline 6, 651kW at 48PSI and total 1144kW with nitrous, AWD, stock transmission and race tyres

Same engine setup as car above but with 4 speed drag gearbox, RWD and drag slicks

Custom drag/ratrod/thing with turbo V8

Turbo RWD with 4-speed drag gearbox, wheelie monster

Turbo 6.0L diesel with nitrous

Turbo 6.0L diesel, nitrous, massive tyres and a whole lot of weight
