So what kind of work is currently underway with the Vivace? We have an idea of where it is, I wonder where it's going.

Work ongoing with the Cherrier Vivace:
    • Interiors
    • Variations, including making variation specific skins, parts and associated tuning
    • Audio tuning
    • Physics tuning
    • QA and bugfixing
    • Crushing it repeatedly because ever since a bad experience with a Citroen C5 I have an undying grudge against French cars.

So we didn't get to see the interior because it isn't finished yet? Got it. Keep up the great work!
Quick question, would it be possible for the entire dash to be lighted instead of only the gauges?

Life lesson: Never buy a French car in Australia. I bought a C5 that ended up causing me no end of grief with an endless series of mechanical and electrical faults. In the four months (!) I owned it I had it in a workshop a week in every month. Eventually, after stalling in the middle of half a dozen busy intersections and one really memorable downhill run, it turned out that the cylinder head gasket had gone and the job to replace it involved a Citroen specific sealant that had to be applied in a special procedure listed at something approaching 20 hours of work plus cost of the sealant and surface cleaner. It was literally going to cost more to repair it than I paid for the car.

So yeah, in hindsight I realise I was an idiot for not buying a Holden or at least a brand made within 8000km of where I lived. But at the same time I've never had as much trouble as I had with that horrible excuse for a vehicle. Looked amazing, drove smoothly (when it drove) but by the holy axle grease of Thor's chariot was it ever the sorriest collection of parts assembled by the hands of humankind.

Yikes! Sounds about right for a French car.

So what configs are planned for the Vivace? What are they called, if you have any idea at this point? And since BeamNG is about accuracy, are there any plans to simulate that "special" quality of French engineering somehow?

Any chance of showing us a WIP interior pic?

Or is it in a stage too early to show the community? :)

Ummm, I never saw this Focus model before, that explains I couldn't make the connection. I see it now, thanks.

Sounds like you got a lemon! What a shame, we had many french cars in the family, and I'm keeping the tradition with my first car. With that said, I live just next to france so the situation here is french cars are some of the cheapest to run and buy, very much sensible cars. Though the C5 and higher-end Citroëns of that era are still recognised as potential money sinks...

I wouldn't mind a vehicle team dev blog post about interior development :p

Not sure I've ever seen an official post about designing/modeling interiors, I have no idea about that part of the development cycle. I'm sure it would be an interesting read.

I definitely see potential for law enforcement variants of the Vivace:

    Arma Dei Carabinieri:

Polizia Di Stato: (I know it's a Seat and it's Spanish but the Polizia Di Stato own Peugeots, but of other bodystyles)

    Polizia Municipale (Norte)

Polizei (French vehicles are rarely used by German police as far as I know, but some do exist)

And if a French map was ever added:
    Gendarmerie Nationale

    Police Nationale

Which part of Poland do you live in?

I live in Puławy, and have already seen quite a few of these.

I literally live 80 km from you. An hour-ish drive. The thing is, I stopped really looking at all the newer cars, I personally look out for the older ones. Regardless of my preference, I'm too busy terrorising the streets and breaking all speed limits in my 0.9 Seicento when I'm outside.
