Cancelled Colby Harrier Ute

I'm making this as a kind of goodbye to Holden, if you don't know what i'm talking about by that, you should probably search it up

It will be an off brand of Hirochi made for the Aussie/NZ market, I haven't decided on a name or logo just yet though.

Most of it will be scratch jbeam apart from the suspension and drivetrain etc.

And if it all goes well I will try to make sedan/wagon versions aswell

Some things to be noted:

• Do not ask for a release date and do not ask for early access
• As long as the title says WIP, it's WIP
• This won't put a stop to my other projects

Nice, how does the Sedan version look?

 

It hasn’t been made yet

 

I am just asking for perspectives sake I mean sure slap on a suburst fascia but I think this mod would be more worth while if designed as a sedan first, then converted into a UTE among other body styles! There are much more tactful ways to approach a mod, making it especially more worth while for the people enjoying the content (I would be happy to pay for quality content, please spend quality time with it)

 

Well I wanted a ute at first, the sedan is just if/when I finish the ute

He/His and yes I agree. It does take a long time to make stuff like this so the sedan will be a last priority thing bit it would still be cool

Sorry if I misread something but will there be a Holden version alongside the lore-friendly version?

 

I don't mean to be a dick but almost everything I have seen and compared to ref material is wrong in either a small or big way from vents to pillars, bumper to body lines/panels. I wish you the best but please just take your time and study the areas you are working on.(I know wip so these can be fixed but further ahead the project gets the less likely fixes like those are to be made)

 

No there wont sorry because that would mean having to remodel the car and I will be uploading this to the repo and don't want any copyright issues

what model commodore is this based off ? is it the VF (I think that was the last Australian one, not sure though as I was never big into the commodores)
