I wonder if we will ever get a post apocalyptic Video game set two decades after Y2K? Sounds like it would be a cool idea of an open world game. So obviously all the technology, vehicles and music would be based before the late 90's to early 2000's. You play as somebody that was a baby when the events happen (the main character would be in his early 20s) , Trying to piece together what the old world was like. Mad Max but with 90's cars and (badly damaged) fashion.

Yea sure, maybe some adventure game and GTA (has radio stations) elements.

Would definitely have tonnes of 90's references.

 

You know the world of half life 2? that is what you call a post apocalptic setting.

 

Of course I do.

 

A game like tarkov or arma in the half life setting would just be the coolest thing ever.
