I'm sorry Holland but I've got to tell my bit. Long story short your an attention whore. You've gotten better but when I first met you the only thing you cared about was making as many little mods as you could and try to become popular. You made a big deal about talking to the Admins like Gabe and everyone else because I was new and you tried to show off to me. You were the wannabe famous person of beamng. If you haven't realized everyone has gotten tired of it. You burnt a lot of bridges when you burn them you can't make it across the river easily. Problem is though you burnt through everything. You're driving people nuts. You have used people's content and claimed it as your own so many times that people have quit giving you chances. That's why everyone doesn't really have a soft spot for you. Just my 2 cents Sent through the stars by my Galaxy with a Note for you!
You know Holland... Noone would honestly care that you'd be copying their parts if only you just told everyone from the start... IF,... IF from the first pic that has any tiny part in it that's made by someone else, you'd just post right away that you based it heavily on part x made by person y, or that you just straight-up took the part from them, depending on what had happened... IF you'd do that, most likely noone would've cared. The problem here is 2 things: 1: You've gotten yourself into a situation where people will start suspecting you've taken something from someone else, even when you're being legit, JUST because you've done it in the past with A LOT of meshes without telling anyone. 2: Because of that, people will even call you out that you haven't asked them for permission even if you do state it's theirs from the start like I said above. (And to be fair, rightfully so, even if someone says "people can take whatever they want from here", I still prefer to contact them personally) There's 1 solution for this, which requires you to do 2 things: 1: Ask people when you want to use parts of their mods.. More than likely, even Dennis, Dkutch and definitely me(though still ask me first) will say "sure, go ahead" on 99% of the stuff we've ever made. 2: When you post pictures of it, at the very first pic you post that shows the parts, you say "part x on this was made by person y". That is litterally all. Trust me, people will stop bitching about what you do if you just start creditting properly. You brought it upon yourself that we started bitching. You can also fix it. Saves you the effort of modeling over someone elses stuff too when you can just use the part as-is And uh, don't get too cocky with kutch and dennis... You can learn a thing or 2 from them. Oh and yeah, the tapatalk thing is annoying as f***. Can't believe how obnoxious that app is that it needs to put that on every post you make with it.
Okay everyone. This is a "confession", I've said I apologize for what I've done in the past as for the taking others designs and claiming as mine, which I should have been giving credit to the original owners content. I admit this, I did take kutchs design with the axles, and yes I claim then as my own, and I did take others work (sorry that I don't remember who) and I hope I can regain the communities' trust back with modeling, from this point on, I WILL not take anyone's content on put it on my model (I will make it first before showing others), I WILL ask before using or think of using one's part it parts. I WILL blow up the dev thread with "spam" posts regarding my work, and I WILL try not to make a big fuss over something small. And I will give credos to those who helped me even if it's the small things. I just hope that all this can be put behind us, and we can move on. And I would like to say a apology to dkutch myself. Dkutch I am sorry for taking your work multiple times in the past and not giving you the credos for your excellent work. I hope that I can learn thing from you and everyone else here. I hope this fixing things.
Way to be a dick, man. He made an honest confession and all that mopey shit and you are trying to make fun of it....
