I've had this problem for a couple of weeks where my steam games are lagging. Usually I play on the highest graphic settings, and still get about 70-80 fps on average. But any other games besides steam games (I play minecraft) have no issue at all. help anyone ?

Are you using any beta version of steam? The latest steam beta is extremely unstable from what ive experienced and causes some in game issues.

If not, all i can say is uninstall steam completely and start fresh with new steam/game installs.

Steam>Settings>Account>Beta Programs. Choose to Opt. out. But seeing you have no clue if you're using it or not, I assume you arent. Just uninstall and reinstall steam. You'll have to reinstall all your games sadly.

And if you need help on Fps, go to settings-gameplay-quality settings, and set it to SSAO, normal, and tiremarks amount to about 2000-1300.
