Are you using 3ds max? If so, you have to convert it to editable poly, go to geometry > quadrify all in the ribbon or something like that. As for blender...
So I finally figured out how to use Mental Ray... First attempt at a shaded render. I don't have any of progress on the van as I've had a week full of exams, and I've spent my free time trying to figure out how JBeams actually work (All I could do was crash the game). I'm gonna update as soon as I remake the turn signals and have the roof done, maybe with the basic shape of the back already done.. I'm leaving the corrugated metal for the end because I want to try normal mapping them before actually modeling them. Hopefully now the front is done the rest of the body will be pretty quick. And I've got a bunch of insane ideas for it once it's finished (no i'm not gonna make an 8x8, ever). P.S. Does anyone know how a torsion bar suspension actually works? It's really simple and yet I can't understand them.
It's basically half anti-roll bar for each wheel. Read the first paragraph here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torsion_bar_suspension, look at this image, (imported from here), and watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_liGnV3PTiQ
