I'm just saying this, but to avoid all this you probably should've just put it in the game with nothing prior so none of this happened and everyone is happy.

 

This appears to be another situation where the "shushing" is louder than what is being "shushed"... The community that is only on Youtube/Steam/Reddit will always rush everything, and once in awhile it'll spill over on here... People are generally a bit more antsy due to recent circumstances, but it isn't that bad...

And yeah, we really need an Over the Horizon 2... The game has changed so much since then and we really don't know what's going on with long term goals at all anymore.

 

The car will be released in the upcoming update, which will probably be in the next few weeks.

I am seriously concerned by the whole "release car or don't talk about it" attitude I've been seeing from various community members as of late. As stated above, I really would like to see improved communication, especially in the long term, but if people seem to take communication the wrong way then the devs will probably hold off on revealing future plans, which would only make things worse. Just let the devs show off what they're working on and wait "until it's ready".

 

Sounds really promising, seems like a fun car to throw around in the corners.
Hopefully there will be a lot of configurations. I love making awful cars, and I can imagine this car in a ''cross'' configuration similar to the Focus Active with a base model gutless petrol 1.0 CVT with FWD.

Folks. Releasing the Vivace now as it is would be like eating your food as soon as they look somewhat finished, but nonetheless needs a bit more time to be really delicious and awesome. You wouldn't do that either, would you? They're not ready yet.

 

I know I'm sounding selfish and impatient, but I just have one honest and respectful question:
Do you think the car will be ready by sometime in April? I can easily wait that long at this point, this car looks like it will have so much to offer.
Side-note: the i5 engine sounds incredible, I hope it doesn't get changed.

 

guys just give the devs some time to finish the car it is not the end of the world if the car does not get finished by april.

 

All this impatience really reminds me of pre-release Alan Wake, although maybe not that bad

Oh I can wait, as long as the car doesn't literally take multiple years to come out, but I doubt that with the team's skills. Y'know it kinda seems a bit toxic here tbh. Someone asks anything about the release only to be shot down by multiple people telling them to shut up, suck it up, and wait.

 

So hyped for that car, and its also taking a bit longer because they will surely not only bring this new car into the game for the next update. I am sure that they are also going to put something else in this update like a reworked/updated version of other cars etc...

 

considering this will likely have a rear fender slot like the sunburst, I'll be interested to see if they make use of that by adding some WRC style flares?

I have a question not about the progress of the vehicle, but about a feature it could have. Will the Vivace come with a Backup Camera? All cars as of 2018 are federally mandated to have one, and seeing as the Vivace is a 2020 model year car, it would only make sense. Also love your guy's work, great stuff, and take your time. When the world is like this, it's important to take things slow.
