If I wanted to make a new taillight for a BNG car, let's use the 800 series as an example. How exactly would I create a mod taillight that can be selected in the config menu? Can someone explain to me the process and / or give me some tutorial videos? Thanks.
Not allowed how? He can make edits and such to anything he pleases as long as it isn’t uploaded to the repo and breaks the car for everyone else.
If you'd like a simple answer from a simple person, here you go: Easiest way to go about it is to just create a new texture for the taillight and create a new materials.cs file. You could go about modelling one, but in the case of your example, why bother when the taillight is a strange shape? For the Jbeam, you could straight-up copy-paste the existing 800_taillight.jbeam and rename the parts and files. I'm not very good at modding, but that's the easiest way I can think of going about it.
