Got my paycheck Got to the store and bought sport dashboard, and indicator thing 10 for indicators and 30 for dashboard so that is 40 dollars. *After installation*
@Denis15 texted me this morning saying that he had found the keys to a car and a note saying where the car was while he was cleaning his house this morning. He asked if I wanted to go find it with him and I accepted the offer. We hopped in his Pessima to go look at the mystery car. We stopped for gas and some drinks along the way. Eventually, Denis turned down a narrow dirt road. I was slightly worried the front-wheel-drive Pessima wouldn't be able to make it through some of the ruts, but it did. We eventually found the car: an '80s Caprice, and man was it rough! It looked like it had been sitting here a while and we both had our concerns about getting it started. We swapped in a new battery, filled the carburetor float bowls with some fresh 87 octane and I bottle-fed it off of some starting fluid while Denis cranked it over. To both of our surprise, it came to life with minimal effort and ran halfway decent, having sat here for 19 years (I found a registration sticker from 2001 on the floor of the car). We began the drive home, me following Denis with his Pessima. We stopped at the gas station for a second time to put air in the tires and more fresh fuel in the tank of the Caprice. Denis began to top off the fluids and when he got to the brake master cylinder, which was already dry, the new fluid just leaked straight out of it. He had been driving with no brakes this whole time! Driving very slowly and carefully due to the lack of stopping power, we made it back to his house with both vehicles. He then brought it to his new rental garage and began to address the brake issue, which wound up being a rusted-through brake line. I'm going to look at a potential new car (yes, another one) for myself later today.
I’m still looking for a new car. I took a longer shift at beamrepairs, so I should be able to find something decent. I was hoping to buy one of those D-10 Charros, but I can’t find any affordable ones at the moment.
I woke up this morning to a text from @Cory5503 . He said there was an Ibishu Pessima, the second generation, for $800 near his house. Luckily for me, there is a bus stop really close to my house.
I think I'm gonna sell the D15 in order to make room for the new car I'm looking at. I'm going to keep the wheels and steering wheel, though, so I'll have to look for some cheap parts to throw back on it in order to sell it.
Well, I found some sacrificial steel wheels for the truck so I could keep my slotted mags. I even dressed the steelies up a little with some center caps. Also, I'm deciding to just let the aftermarket steering wheel go with the truck since I can't find a cheap substitute quick enough. It's just a bummer because it's a real and original Legno Classico wheel, which is worth like $400 alone.
The guy wanted $800 for this Pessima. It needs new tires, has a small amount of rust, and the transmission is heading out. I was able to get the price down to $500, for a car that will hopefully last me until I can get a better one. A quick test drive confirmed that I wanted it, despite the fact that it was an automatic. --- Post updated --- I headed over to BeamRepairs and bought myself some new tires. I put the car on cinder blocks and changed out the tires. I also did some basic work on the car, such as an oil change. Now I've just got to register the car in my name, and I'll be good to go. Hopefully the lines aren't too long at the DMV. --- Post updated --- I've brought it home, and the one thing I can say for certain is that the sport suspension hates my driveway.
bought new wheels from @Cory5503 and sometime later I have it on the car. Also bought cardboard to cover my windows for painting. After 2 hours of painting, I finally finished it (Don't blame me for fast RP) I will leave it in the garage for this day.

Helped Denis pick up an engine for his Caprice. We did a compression test on the old 350 CID engine that's in it now and it was bad. Like, 80 PSI in each cylinder. So he found a recently rebuilt 305 CID engine in the fishing village, and we went in my truck to pick it up. I dropped the engine off at Denis's garage, where his Caprice was. I then went to take a look at the car I want to buy. It's a 1973 Moonhawk in Forest Green, although you can hardly tell through all the rust. Anyway, it's a V8 4-on-the-floor car with original paint. The 378 big-block has a few basic mods such as a slightly more aggressive aftermarket flat-tappet cam, 4-barrel carb, and...well, that's about it. And I bought it for $2,500 due to how rough it is. I just couldn't help myself. I got a friend of mine to take my truck home so I could drive the Moonhawk back. Of course I had to see if it would do a burnout and chose the street in front of my house as it's test track. It did it, but only spun one tire. I'll probably try to find some sort of LSD for it, but in the meantime, I spoke with @jerrie about ordering a set of Grip-All T/As for the mag wheels I pulled off of my D15, which will now go on the Moonhawk.
I took my old rusty engine out and saw my chassis it needed work so before I got the new engine I got all the rust off from Caprice chassis. My nearly new engine that @Cory5503 helped me brought it here special thanks for him it was covered in dirt so I cleaned it also changed head gaskets and got new spark plugs new oil filter, fuel filter, oil fluid in it got it in the car and it ran awesome. Also bought this thing that it slides onto the exhaust. And time has come for the interior. First I started by cleaning these seats, dashboard and other things and look at it now it looks like brand new. At my rented garage I found some light bulbs and it looked like that it was bought 1 week ago so I cleaned my dirty lights and installed these light bulbs and it works great. Also, I checked my fuel tank and to me, it was in good condition. Radiator was good no leaks at all. Suspension and brakes are the last things it was terrible.
(That is unrealistic you have a lot of money a lot of cars just letting you know you need to start from scratch and you need to create your character.)
Today I woke up early got to the shop-bought all parts that I needed and got to the garage for my Caprice and started working. *After 3-4 hours working* Finally, I fixed it I will try to pass inspection now and get insurance.
I picked up a used factory style PlusTrak LSD carrier, along with a set of 3.38 gears for my Moonhawk. In addition to that, I got my slot mag wheels mounted on the car with their new tires, and I also pulled the exhaust off after the headers. It has long tube headers, so I can run it like this without doing any damage to the exhaust ports on the heads. This thing sounds like shit now, but it actually picked up some good power from the reduced backpressure.
