Alright, so I just checked. My Suburban has smooth metal door handles on the original doors.

On the rear door which is from a different year truck it has a textured metal door handle that has broken. I assumed it was plastic because of the texture and the fact that it broke.

A couple more quick thoughts- drip-rails were very prominent- All trucks had them in 1985. Also, I think the rear window is a bit too large. And the A-pillar is too thin. It's all a bit too 90s. (Yes, I know the body style it's based on is from 1988)

Honestly, I think the only proper way to do it is to model an entirely new cab at this point- but that takes a lot of time so I understand why they won't.

Of course. these are just my opinions and we all know what they say about those.

    That's a very generic description.

How is the configuration you are driving set up?
    What level are you using?
    etc.

I would not be strange if, for example, you are using a high-powered engine, on Utah (high ambient temperature), and still mounting the standard radiator.

    Mods installed?
Did you check in Safe Mode in either case?

If happens in Safe Mode too, provide a video.

Well, it is a relatively old truck. And doesn't one of the loading screen tips say something like "some older vehicles can overheat easily if driven hard"? Idk I thought I saw something that said that

But I tested the D15 V8 4WD on hirochi raceway for a few laps, and I didn't have any overheating issues

i think that's more so for cars like the bluebuck/burnside, and in a map like utah, where the ambient temperature is way hotter.

Yeah, that makes sense. But the D-series doesn't seem to get any warmer in Utah's temperature difference.

Please do try Safe Mode then. It will tell if that's an issue on your side (which more likely is) or not.

You couldn't be more wrong... On the next gen (Post OBS) GM pickups and SUV's the interior and exterior door handles were plastic
OBS trucks and SUV's always cast metal handles inside and out. (aluminum i believe) which were prone to failure due to poor design... On topic though, I think the dually trucks should have more wheel options as far as dually configs go. Like what is seen on most 80's and 90's pickups with 4 hole slots and so on... Like what is seen here.

Well, I guess this is the best place to plop a Roamer suggestion.

I've always wished we had more AWS cars, but being how rare they are IRL there aren't many places where they would make sense in game. However, there was an AWS Suburban in 2001, so there is justification for giving AWS to some sorta limited run special edition XL Roamer.

On another note... I mentioned this before but I'll mention it again: I really hope to see the Charro get it's own spot in the vehicle selector in the same way the Roamer does. Both are SUV's on a derivative of the D-Series frame, so it makes sense for both to be seperate. It's also the only way that the Charro can get a decent config selection without either making a mess or decimating the D-Series config selection.

Also, really hoping for a vehicle that is to the Charro/Roamer what the seventh gen Suburban was to the second gen Blazer/eighth gen Suburban. Yes that would be a lot of D-Series based vehicles, but it would finish the platform's pre-1992 vehicle
offerings and just be a crew cab Charro. It doesn't even need a new roof, the Centurion Classic kept the removable top from the Bronco. And no, I'm not saying I want this immediately. The platform's already got a lot of attention lately while other vehicles are just depressed blobs of potential right now.

Cast iron actually, and absolute garbage cast iron at that. A lot of OBS Chevy parts were prone to quick failure; door pins, door handles, panels rusting, dashes cracking, 6.5l diesels constantly cracking heads, computer issues after '94, etc. etc., but I still love mine.

I see... I'm certainly interested in how the config/vehicle selector situation will turn out with the current UI.

While I know I have your attention I just wanted to say the entire team has done some absolutely amazing things in the past year and it's been incredible to watch the game and the company grow. Massive thank you to the entire team for the incredible dedication. I hope my admittedly large quantity of suggestions are not discouraging, appologies if they are. I just love this game and there's a lot I hope to see someday.
