I'm working on a massive airport because I don't think there are enough of them.
Here is a list of things I will implement into the map:
    • Long enough runways to reach most top speeds.
    • Long runways for huge airplanes.
    • Smooth road surfaces (Most people don't like bumpy roads)
    • 99% of the 3d models I create myself (excluding the airplane model)
    • A layout that can be used to drift cars (Circles, curves etc.)
Now, I need ideas for the rest of the map, because its pointless to have an airport on an island by itself.

    Progress so far:

    Wow, looks great!

Here's some runway markings reference directly from the FAA's garbage website, I do see a few discrepancies concerning markings: https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/atpubs/aim_html/chap2_section_3.html

My own observations; control towers are usually hard to get into without driving across aprons or entering through a secure location within a terminal, there's usually a VOR/DME on the airport or very nearby, and aprons are usually fairly large - as aircraft have to be maneuvered past each other. I'd recommend looking at some airports with Google Earth to help get an idea of layout, some that might fit your size would be like LOWI, KGEG, or KBOI - for really long runways I'd also recommend looking at KMWH.

Can't wait to fly into it, keep up the awesome work.

Test Flight. There is plenty of room for takeoff and landing.

Hopefully you will have an airport diagram that will contain taxiway/runway heading/length and other information and such.

Will there be a parking garage and/or a designated area or terminal for public transport (Busses, taxis, uber, etc)?

    Just some fantasy ideas...

It would be cool to have ramps etc on the roof of buildings near the edges and walls to make it something like a skatepark for us pilots that can't fly and when the flying mods stop working so the map can still be entertaining for other uses...

I must be one of the few that loves bumpy roads more than smooth roads

I think a bumpy runway would be fun to have as well as a slippery ice runway to test pilots and for the extreme pilots an off camber runway both normal and slippery ice would be challenging..

Mostly to test WhyBeAre's skills lol

    How long is the runway?

Can you successfully land there with the An-12b?

Yes you can. But it takes practice to land anything in this game when playing with a keyboard or controller. It’s probably easier with an aircraft simulating joystick.

I actually did manage to learn to fly it with a keyboard, but now I have bound the ailerons and elevators to the mouse which is much better.
