What GPU do you have

In my main PC, I have an ASUS ROG STRIX 5700 XT OC EDITION 8G.
I'm currently tweaking it via powerplay tables, to get more performance. So far it currently matches the 2080 super in performance and can do 4k 60+fps ultra.



And in my second pc, I have my old MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G. I VBIOS modded this one too, running 1580Mhz core and 4110Mhz memory @1.312mv with power limits removed. With these settings, it can do 4k medium/high at 30 to 40 fps and depending on the game, sometimes 50-60. At 1440p, it'll easily achieve 60+fps at ultra.

 

what kind of tweaks have you done to your 5700 lol i'd kill for that kind of performance, mine's kinda on a 2070 super level

 

I increased the max voltage from 1200mv to 1300 (i also increased SOC voltage too for stability) and I increased the power limit from 220watts to 275watts (it'll differ from card to card) and I also increased the max clock speed allowed in the bios.

You have to make sure your cards cooler is up for it though, mine runs around 50-60c with the stock cooler surprisingly, even with the increased volts and power output.

And this is for the STRIX 5700 XT, it'll be different for the standard 5700. What I can recommend if your temps are ok, and if you don't care about noise - crank the fans up to max with a custom fan curve and raise the max voltage via morepowertool, and power - if your chip is good, you'll easily hit 2150-2175 at 1250mv or lower.

I was able to get 2185Mhz @1245mv, and memory is running at 1984Mhz.

I used to have a (idk what brand) GT 730 (it was bad) installed in my Micro-Itx prebuilt. Then I got an EVGA 1060 SC 6gb card. I had to get a new power supply, though, and it didn't fit in my prebuilt, so I ran the cables into my prebuilt, while the power supply just chilled outside of the case. Yikes. But, I got a new custom build and reused the PSU, HDD, and GPU from the prebuilt in my new custom build.

 

I'm the weird guy playing BeamNG on a bootcamped iMac, so I use the Radeon Pro 570. It actually handles beamNG pretty decently, I can get a consistent 45+ FPS in 1080p with medium settings. It has 4 GB of GDDR5 memory. Fairly mediocre, but not the worst.

 

I have a RTX 2070 Super. Handles anything I throw at it.

R9 290. Upgraded from GTX 960. The R9 290 isn't a bad card, but without undervolt, I see where the memes came from … idle power consumption is tragic at around 18w just sitting at desktop, my 960 was around 10w.. hence it could be passive at idle.
Also the R9 290 is terrible at 2d stuff, you scroll on a webpage and the gpu clock jumps up quite a bit, and uses lots of power.
Furthermore, anything that requires high clocks (like recording 1080p60 requires 880mhz clocks, which warrants a minimum of 60w gpu power draw!)

So it's very dated really, but the actual 3d performance is awesome. It's a true legend

I have this card. It is a 4GB RX 570 it is good for what I need and I slightly overclocked it to 1.41Ghz first test. Might push more later but I am being cautious right now.

I run BeamNG on a Nvidia GTX 1050 with a Intel i7-7700 CPU

 

RTX 2060 Super and I had a CX750M power supply but it was defective (random shutdowns and clicking, managed to kill 2 almost 3 mice). I've since been using a Seasonic FOCUS GX-750

 

I saw a CX series PSU take out an entire PC due to being defective. I don't trust them anymore. Good choice on going with Seasonic.
