how do I know what the German plate format looks like? I’ve never left the U.S. for anything and I’m only used to seeing the U.S. plate format.
Ah. I never really paid much attention to the plates on that map (and is basically one of the least played maps that I’ve been on)
But then again, the plate’s not random, because it says “BNG” on the left. I still don’t think it means anything, though.
The plates aren't completely random in the sense that each one has a default format, e.g. the German plates used on the ETK centre will always spawn as BNG followed by 5 random letters/numbers (example of some I just spawned up below) This applies to other plates as well, most if not all US plates use the format of 3 random numbers then 3 random letters. The numbers and letter were more than likely still random so to say that it's a confirmed release date is a bit of a stretch.
The update will porbably be out in a few weeks,so dont make bazzare couclations on when it will release
Devs, will we be getting a convertible any time in the future? We have every single vehicle type in Beam except for convertible now. Surely you guys are working out something? Right? Right?!

I mean a base game convertible model. A brand new model in the series. It wouldn't be a bad idea to make it a Cherrier to go along with the Vivace. Maybe use an extended version of the platform bc it seems pretty versatile.
There would need to be a coupe or sedan or it will be a ugly weird looking mini convertible if ther cherrier was oing to be a convertible
I'd imagine they havent yet because they're quite hard to implement, and also make them look polished. no one has made a hardtop convertible so far, afaik. but all the softtop ones that currently exist aren't polished to game standards. either the meshes clip when the roof is folded down, or in the case of the oldsfullsize, it has a cheaty cover which pops in once the roof is down. like I've said before, the ETK K was probably originally meant to have a convertible hardtop, but due to limitations, they had to convert it into a fixhead.
Reminds me of the olden days when everyone thought Mythbuster's Cadillac convertible was the coolest thing ever (and it was), but in reality it was massively janky. The turn signals were used to activate it, and from what I remember, once you put it down, it wouldn't go up all the way again. As for official convertibles, another thing that they need to figure out is how to have windows roll down. I feel there will eventually be an update to have more parts of cars move, such as wipers, windows, opening doors and trunks on vehicles with power opening doors and trunks, retractable antennas, convertible tops, etc.
