Replaced the leaky oil cooler lines yesterday. Also fresh oil and filter. Filled up on gas for $1.79/gal. I'm thinking it's probably gonna need rear brake pads.
The body needs some love on this thing. The most glaring imperfections are the hazy headlights and bare spot on the hood.
Still looking for a rear seat and rear door panel.

I put the top down, then filled up for $1.61/gallon, and rode around for about 1 1/2 hours.

Found and got working an old oem radio. Let's just say these old code radios are a bit finicky.
You may enjoy tape deck goodness

Got some proper wood paneling to replace the plastic in the center console

...and finally changed all the dashboard's lights so they're not all halfway dead.

Also did glowplugs, intake gaskets and shit

Fired up one of my MK2 golfs today. Has been sleeping a few weeks in the cold shed but with a few pumps on the gas and full choke it chugged to life. And i finished up the bodywork on my other MK2 as im going to trade it for a Lada 2105.

Changed to summer wheels, added 15mm spacers to every wheel and cleaned a bunch of mud behind the inner fender and inside the skirt.

Brake calipers could use a repaint.

Retrofitted a euro switch with automatic headlight capability.

    4B700D65-6936-4767-ADD3-BE30A7FBCA17.jpeg

The switch also gave my car unofficial coming home/leaving home mode even though I could've enabled that in VCDS.

Update (April 23, 2020): Parking light toggle apparently didn't work at so I've corrected that in VCDS. I also made it so my DRLs (aka my low-beam headlights) only turn on when the car detects that it's dark or by manual toggle instead of being on full time.

I also started ordering parts for a lowline to highline MFSW retrofit. Control module and cluster have already arrived but still waiting for steering wheel and need to order a new clockspring. I’ll be actually doing this in May

Counted 10 rust bubbles all around the car and found some rust on the passenger side door.
    Thanks, 10-year-old Chrysler.

Took a couple pics showing the current state of the Crown Vics interior. Still looking for one rear door panel and the rear seat back and bottom. And a windshield.

It's come a long way from how it looked in January. It was a wreck.
