Update Speculation thread

A while back a post was mentioned here about finding some updated I4 sounds and backfire in the files. I really hope those make it into this update, sounded amazing.

If that sound makes it into the game, it’ll probably be for the cherry and not for the covet

Quality wise, it sounds worse than the current engines. However, it would be nice to have more variety with engine sounds in this game. Overall, I'd want it to be used for the 'Vace

It sounds like its from Assetto Corsa

 

They're OK

 

They make sound

 

There decent-ish

 

i feel like they are wip, and set temporarily aside

 

Assetto Corsa uses the same sound engine as BeamNG (fmod), so no wonder it reminds you of that

 

Oh yeah, it does. BeamNG also uses the same horn sounds as GTA San Andreas.

 

Anyone know what happened to the thumbnail room?

 

It's in the base game and available through the level selector if you search for "showroom".

Am I the only one that noticed that we've been seeing a lot more of the Pigeon? Maybe just a coincidence, but a pigeon remaster could be in the works.

 

That's a good point actually.

 

speaking of which, the taillights look different (I haven't driven it in a looong time so I could be wrong) and there are no fender flares...

 

I think it's the same so far.
