Update Speculation thread

The update could be published on Saturday 11 since the Cherrier Vivace was unveiled on February 11. Why not ?

Obviously we are looking at a release delay until 2021 or even 2022, just most of Hollywood.

On the East Coast of the US.
The update will be released at once of course, it's just that it may feel like you got it later/earlier based on where you live. Plus it'd be tedious for updates to come out during a specific time across times zones, for example, 7 am in NYC is ahead of 7 am in LA, so they can't just say "7 am on April Xth, it'd be too spaced out just because of the science of time zones.

It's almost 11:40 am over here on a Tuesday, that's pretty ridiculous by my standards. Usually, updates for any game are in the latter half of the week

 

They do! A lot of the horn sounds are the same!
I've got many hours on both games and they are identical.

 

Maybe that's the issue, you play them too much and the "realities" are fusing together.

 

Here are my thoughts on when the update will release:

If you look at 0.17, when we got the Bluebuck, the map revamps trailer was released 8 days before the update, and the Bluebuck's trailer was 2 days before the update.

The Small Island revamp trailer was released on 4/4/20, and since the Bluebuck's trailer was released 6 days after the map revamp trailer, that leads me to believe the Vivace trailer will release on 4/10/20 (I didn't say the update would come out on 4/10, I said the Vivace video probably will). This means the update could be released on Sunday, Maybe Monday of next week. It could be sooner, it could be later.

 

Nope. I've tested it out myself and it's true. The bus horn sounds are identical.

 

He's actually right though, the bus for example has the same horn as used in older GTA games.
It's a part of the samples available on FMOD the devs are using
