Ooh, an early birthday present. :3 Hopefully the Intel driver issues that myself and others have are updated pretty soon, though.
The Torac qE does not hydrolock, allowing you to drive underwater. I also found a location underwater where the textures do not match up with the ground.
It's an electric car, they don't hydrolock like ICE cars. Their behavior is much more complex in that case, and we don't cover it yet.
Super excited by this update, yet again a huge host of improvements and I'm loving the new cars! One thing I've noted (Probably there before the update) but in the loading screen tips it suggests I can go to 'Gameplay' and unlock some 'Advanced Functions'. Firstly is this just some old tip and if not what are these advanced functions?
Some issues I found: Vivace Gendarmerie has Italian Plates by default and an Italian siren. This does not affect the Sunburst "Small Island Chase" uses a Firwood Police (The police for ECA given the Firwood Police station on the map) Sunburst. Maybe a "Small Island Police/Sheriff/Park Ranger" variant could be made. Unmarked Grand Marshal police only has the lights under the push bar. It should be updated to the concealed lighting used on the Roamer. All of the police AI issues from 0.18 remain. I already put a detailed post on that thread about said issues. It is still very frustrating given how functional police chases would make the game so much better. Police car spawnsets are screwed up still. The current system simply spawns cop cars that were made in the country where the map is set. This means that all the new Cherrier police cars are unused, alongside all Ibishu and Hirochi police cars. This also means that all US police cars are used on all US maps, which means you can see BCPD cars in Utah and Firwood police cars in WCA. Overall a very nice update, didn't expect two cars.
When updating the game, Bitdefender reports: Gen: Variant.Johnnie.217870. under a path ending with the Beamng drive exe as a web threat. I'm assuming it's a false positive but might cause problems while updating for other people as well.
I'm having trouble with my display settings, but they might be user error, since I'm not great with computers, and run a pretty janky setup (two monitors on a lower end notebook) Probem is, whenever I use the monitor that isnt currenly running beamng, beam automatically changes display settings. Previously, I would set the display to fullscreen, and could change between monitors no problem, and one click would be enough to get back into beam. After the update, every time I use the second monitor, it changes the settings to Window and I have to change back to Fullscreen. Any idea how I could fix this ?
Thumbnail generator needs some work definitely. - I've only seen camera controls, we need a way to offset the vehicle itself. My bus mod spawns partly in the ground and all thumbnails have cut off wheels. - There should be some warning that there are 2 different image formats in the folder. The old generator made PNG, this one makes JPG, and PNG takes precedence, so it appears that this isn't working until you realize this. - I usually run a single screen setup. On my first run through the generator, all my thumbnails had an IMGUI window in them. - The ability to set the license plate would be a nice feature to have back This is related but unrelated at the same time - Some way to clear the current sessions CEF cache, I had to restart the game each time to verify my thumbnails worked as intended.
Is Humble Bundle being problematic again? If so, no worries, I was just curious as that was the case last update and it's still displaying 0.18.4.
if you want, you can run as many tests on my computer as you would like to, to help resolve the uhd 630 graphics crash. for some reason, the first time I pressed reset in this new update, it worked fine, but from there, it didnt work again. its like it installed something the second time or something
Blue light on the 'Gendarmerie' variant looks cool, but it's floating a few cm above the rooftop. Not tested with mods disabled though.
Cherrier Vivace S wheels (19x9) are labeld wrong, Black version should be called "black/colorable" and grey versions should be called "two tone" i guess
Okay I am more than impressed I had to remove about maybe 170 old mods but its all good here and it feels great with the new car being able to do around 205mph before the engine overheats
We have looked into it, and it indeed seems a false-positive indeed. Only a bunch of less-known AV are matching this, and BitFender which already caused similar issues in the past. See here please: https://www.bitdefender.com/support...nder-detects-legitimate-applications-491.html We need to update this tool-tip. Advanced Functions is in User Interface It is being worked on, give it some minutes. The Showroom level is a fest of lamps with shadows. I believe there are almost 50. It will be heavy on performance. That level is mainly meant for taking screenshots, so performance is not a priority there. See the green text in the first post please. You can use Borderless mode as an alternative for now, if you really need to click outside of the game.
Loving the quality of the 3cyl sound. Was it recorded from a VW? The idling noise at the engine sounds exactly like the "popping" that I hear quite a lot from VW's 1.2.
