So, this never happened before. I was always able to play it with no problem. But today, I've tried to open it, and it said insuffient resources. Then, I tried again, and it deleted the exe. What's this problem?

Your Antivirus could be picking up a false negative and quarantined the file, go into your antivirus and restore it and exclude it from quarantine

To get the .exe back without reinstalling the game, go to your steam library, right click BeamNG, and click properties, find the local files tab and click on verify integrity or game files. This will repair any file damaged or missing from the game. As for it deleting itself, i have no idea why it does that. Possibly antivirus software but not sure.

I’ve had the same problem. It was working fine at first but I closed it so a mod I downloaded (from this website) would work. When I tried to open beam again this happened. Nothing seems to have worked so I’m reinstalling it.

I had this same issue. McAfee virus protection? I've been playing this game for 6 years and not once has this happened.

Yes, I think it must be a thing with McAfee because I use that too.

The .exe won't delete itself, but it can be deleted by your Antivirus and similar.

Check that your Antivirus, or similar, is not blocking or deleting files at random from the game.
It is possible that your Antivirus is deleting files from the game installation by mistake.
Add the game to its exclusion list if necessary (refers to the AV user-manual to see how)

Only after you checked above please follow the instructions in here to let Steam attempt to fix the installation:

So, I did what any normal person would do and delete McAfee and get an entirely different internet security! (I hope my sarcasm is obvious)
