I was just wondering, has anyone been able to find the edge of grid small pure? (If there's one...) I don't really have the time to spawn in a fast car and set it to cruise control and find the edge at the moment. I have driven about 30 mins to an hour and still haven't found the edge!

At some point there is a black void that you drive on, if there is a wall, I don't know

Pretty sure it ends up doing the same thing as Gridmap (finally ends and you fall off). btw driving isn't the fastest way to get around. go to camera mode and choose the camera speed to the highest and fly around holding SHIFT

There is no end as such, I've tried to find out what will happen after a few hours of driving st about 240mph. Basically what happens is the graphisc do not know what do do with the map, so your car us unphased, but the map itself feels kina 4D with everything shaking.

(Good way to get far away is to use the map edotor and teleport the car to something like -100000 Y coordinate)

I actually did the math for all this. I calculated that the end of the map is around 300 light years away. To put this into better prospective, that is about 1,762,380,501,012,000 miles away! (2,836,276,485,020,656 Kilometers)

How fast you would need to go to get there in a reasonable time:

    Get there in a day:
    = 73,432,520,875,500 mph (118,178,186,875,861 kp/h)

Get There in an 8 hour work day:
    = 220,297,562,626,500 mp/h (354,534,560,627,582 kp/h)

    Get there in an hour:
    = 1,762,380,501,012,000 mp/h (2,836,276,485,020,656 kp/h)

    Get there in thirty-minutes:
    = 3,524,761,002,024,000 mp/h (5,672,552,970,041,312 kp/h)

    Get there in five minutes:
    = 21,148,556,012,144,000 mp/h (34,035,317,820,247,874 kp/h)

(And last) Get there in 30 seconds:
    = 211,485,660,121,440,000 mp/h (340,353,178,202,478,735 kp/h)

If you couldn't tell already, you would need to be going so incredibly fast to get there in a reasonable time that the game wouldn't even be able to handle it. You would have to teleport to get there in your life time.

    How did you calculate that?

I would assume that it is infinite and teleports you back to the beginning at full speed so that you dont notice it. Add a generous regular size and it would be almost impossible to detect.

@Devs.... tell us you secret please.

You can only get out so far before the car breaks due to increasing inaccuracy of floating point numbers. The nodes and beams need those precise world coordinates to work properly, and at some point those coordinates will be too inaccurate because they get too big.
