But you just gave me the idea of a Moonhawk Shooting-Brake What do you guys think of the changed b-pillar of the sedan? I moved the lower section slightly forward, and 'rounded' the front of the rear doors a bit more.
Re: Bruckell Moonhawk Sedan & Station wagon I think it would be better to make the rear doors longer either by making the front ones shorter or by extending the wheelbase a bit more to make more space. At the moment the car seems to have emergency doors at the back and they don't look like they come from a full-size sedan/wagon. I don't mind the look of them right now but I think they should be made longer for the perfect look .Anyways, I love the idea of a four-door moonhawk. Keep up the good work .

But, I've got also an argument; According to Gabester, the Moonhawk is based on a 1977 Chevelle. This corresponds to the wheelbases found on Wikipedia of the 1973-1977 Chevelle (although someone made a miscalculation, I just found out. I based the wheelbase increment on the 'should be' 4" wheelbase difference of the Chevelle). It's shorter compared to the Dodge and the Ford, but so are the corresponding coupe's. Thereby a 10mm wheelbase increment made life just a bit easier I added a comparison picture of a 1975 Dodge Coronet with the Moonhawk Sedan. The Coronet's rear doors aren't huge either; the main difference is (I think) the angle of the b-pillar and the curvature of the gap between the doors. I can move the b-pillar (including both door edges) a little bit forward, curve the gap between the doors a bit more or straighten the b-pillar a bit again (which also moves the gap between the door edges forward). I myself like the angle of the b-pillar (it makes it also look different than a Coronet, it should still be a fictitious car), so If there are still many people who would like to see a larger rear door I'll probably go for the first and/or second option. I rather not stretch the wheelbase.
Re: Bruckell Moonhawk Sedan & Station wagon In that case you could move the rear door handles to the back just like on the Coronet to make the door optically larger. That may break the door like so the perfect solution imo would be to move the front handles to the top aswell so that you have all the hanldes loctated in the same line. I think that the moonhawk's rear doors look so small because of the reduced coca cola shaped back that stands out on the Coronet.

I was also noticing the large disparity of the roof "thickness" between the Coronet/Moonhawk. This must be quite the balancing act for you. For now opinions is all I can offer unfourtunately. Love watching the process.

Re: Bruckell Moonhawk Sedan & Station wagon I photoshopped a few suggestions into 1 image. I found a wagon rear window idea that would work well for the design. Top Image had the C pillar window angled more to match the wagon idea and adds more open visual length, I also moved the door handle and scribbed in a more rearward door line. Middle car has the wagon structure added to it. It fits well and can proportion nicely to the vehicle. Very appropriate for the era. The bottom image is a mix I did for a suggestion to keep the rear curves and the recessed area, just making the rear and recessed area taller to accommodate more vertical side taillights. Hope it helps. - Oh and front end idea for the middle - look up 1973 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser or 1980 Cutlass Wagon (had a fun grille for something different)
