That's been there since 0.18, and was just used to test the new ESC system. There are some thumbnails for the Bluebuck that have gone unused since 0.17, however. They're for sedan versions of the 423 models, which don't currently exist. They're still in PNG format and were taken with the old lighting system, so if I had to guess they were taken early on, overlooked when their configs were removed, and remain unnoticed now that all of the thumbnails are in JPEG format. Actually, it is...
Soliad ≠ Bruckell We're just assuming the Wendover is a larger LeGran because back in 2013 it was said to be sharing some engine options with it, so people went further and saw some (still unconfirmed) parallel with GM's "A" and "H" FWD platforms in real life.
I heard somewhere that it will have an IRS setup. Even if it doesn't, I will still be happy that it is in the game.
I wonder if anytime soon we will get a Sunburst remaster. I think it's in a big need for it. What i would like to see the most is a few more configs that wouldn't be exactly sporty, but focused more on comfort and luxury
If anything, the Bolide & Pigeon need it the most... wouldn't mind the curvy Pessima getting a rework as well, as I enjoy driving it
I think the most it really needs is a better interior, and also the aforementioned missing rear door cards.
As for remastered maps, here's an idea: You know how Port and Industrial Site were originally the same map, but they were split for some reason? Maybe if they were re-joined again, along with Derby Arenas to make a single map: Texas, USA. Just add in a small town and some actual roads and it would be amazing.
wcusa has a a large and small racetrack. plenty of space for derby areas. and it has somewhat of a port, but italy's is namely better. i think a map the size of ECUSA or maybe even WCUSA has plenty of space to incorporate the key features of all of these maps.
The last thing I heard about the Wendover was that they were gonna turn it into a coupe, some speculate it could be a GM W-body, GM N-Body or the GM L-body. but I'm not going to lie, I do love me these old GM cars. but its also a sad thing that they keep on pushing it back. hopefully we get to hear the devs giving us an update about the car. (no rush)
I wish we had more versions of the D10 Charro and EV Vivace/Tograc. Also I wonder if the Vivace and Tograc will get lettering in the back
What have you never seen a coupe bus before? Spoiler: Bus Coupe Pictures Sorry no pictures haha, I haven't seen one either... Anyways I'm curious to see what the future UI will look like, and if the Vivace and Tograc will be separated in the vehicle selector menu instead of being mixed together like they are now.
More versions of the D series and FCV will likely have to wait until the new UI is finished, since there's already too many configs for the current menu system.
Same here. There's not really any reason I see to scrap the Wendover sedan. It seems to me the reason it's been considered is because of the backlash the Wendover has been getting, how it's "too similar" to the LeGran, and not because of the actual content the Wendover can offer, which I think you could get at least three, maybe even four body types out of it if you really wanted to get creative with it. If the Bluebuck can have two different coupe and sedan options, why not let the Wendover be both a sedan and a coupe? Realistically, I do think the Wendover would be sold as both a coupe and a sedan. If we want to get creative, two other body types that I think would potentially fit it well would be a station wagon and a convertible. And I think it's interesting that GM's H-Platform was mentioned, because 2/3 vehicles on the platform were available in both sedan and coupe configurations, those being the Oldsmobile 88 and the Buick LeSabre. The only one with one body type was the Pontiac Bonneville sedan. Olds 88: Buick LeSabre:
...That's something you'll never be able to say again. In any case, I wonder if there's going to be a part 3 of the D-series/Roamer/H-series remaster. I think that dirt track/demo derby configs for the Roamer and H-series are probably on the list.
