Found that the corrective steering stuff is tucked away in the Force Feedback options as part of the feature as a whole. I tested on an Xbox controller and if you have your Filter set to Pad and Force Feedback enabled the steering will correct itself when damaged or the vehicle is rolling whenever the stick is centered. I find it kinda neat but it should probably be a separate option entirely since I'm not a fan of my controller vibrating constantly and I suspect others would like it too.
Ah, this is a feature that accidentally slipped in, was not ready to be out. Thanks for letting us know. EDIT - You can remove this file to solve it for now: \lua\vehicle\extensions\auto\autoSteeringAlignTest.lua Or disable FFB, does not make much sense on a controller.
Hey! I wrote repeatedly, but I probably write 3-4 times, starting with version 17 for me and some other people whom I know police chases are broken, the police are not aggressive, when approaching my car they respectfully slow down and softly hit me pitying me. There were 3 major updates, but the problem remained. How can I fix this?
whoop, just found something. When you have the language on german, the font is too big on some fields. But I don't think that's important
Huge thanks, steering now works as it should With that said, I hope it won't try to correct my inputs once it's fully implemented, which is what happened to clutch after this update
Technical questions: What precisly does the option "Chassis stiffening" improve? It adds arround 4 kg of weight but there is no part displayed. Does it make the Vivace more crash worthy, more cornering friendly, or something else? Does it have any drawbacks beyond 4kg of mass? Does the electric variant of the suspension serve a purpose beyond compensating the battery weight? I mean, is it a regular suspension with just more weight capacity or is it a sportier suspension with more weight capacity? Can you confirm that the new driving modes only change the ESC/TC behavior on Vivaces that dont have adaptive suspensions? You can at the moment equip a roof rack but nothing for it. Is it planned to have more features for it in the future? Roof box ect...? Electric motor ECU - will there be tuning options available for it? Will there be an option to remove its speed limiter? Bug reports: Tograc 160Q (DCT) has wrongly listed topspeed value of 191 km/h. Reality maxed out. TOGRAC Polizia claims to be AWD but in fact is only FWD Should read 190dQ (DCT) (190 Horspower diesel Quatre) Same for the TOGRAC Quatre Electric. You already know this video but I want to point out that all mirrors display only in day mode. Driving at night and looking into a mirror shows the world in the mirror at day. Possible typo in the file vivace_suspension_R.jbeam vivace_spring_R_race": { "information":{ "authors":"BeamNG", "name":"Race Rear Springs", "value":1150, ... "beams": [ ["id1:", "id2:"], //rear springs {"beamType":"|NORMAL"}, {"beamDeform":30000,"beamStrength":15000}, {"beamSpring":"$spring_R_race","beamDamp":0}, ["rh3l","r1ll", {"precompressionRange":"$=$springheight_R_race + 0.022", I understand far to little about those things but I want to point out that this value is 150000 or even higher in the other Rear Springs. Maybe a zero to little?
There is what seem to be a texture issue on the left base of the windshield. The grey spot appears, almost like the that one texture spot is flickering, every time the car goes over rough bump or terrain. Its only noticeable with the Active Interior.
For some reason, if I use the trailer in traffic, the truck spawns without a trailer and the trailer gets warped into a...thing.
i think i found a bug with the awd system. it only starts working properly again with a new vivace. (i'm in safe mode).
A small thing: Those track/rally side mirrors are misaligned. - before you ask it's a fully fresh reinstall and I don't use mods. Btw. Damn! Those details in Vivace i.e. welds and imperfections on rollcage, black dots around windscreen, quality gauges (I'd love to see it refresh a bit quicker), all the interior materials i.e. aresnics carbon on bottom part of steering wheel etc etc makes it look so nicely and detailed. I've never thought BeamNG vehicle could look so amazing, i5 sounds, new ESC stuff and so on, also drives so good it's a pleasure to take a spin on a track - using a G27 and having a real blast. Update by update a lot of progression in quality just wow, can't wait to see what future brings, but thanks to everybody onboard BeamNG don't forget that you bring a lot of joy to us Ps. Some spicy devblogs about tires, electronic aids and "Something (still) on the horizon 2.0" would be really welcome!
The Cherrier needs some adjustments (Hill climb version on the picture, but most certainly all the others as well) As for the exhaust with the stabilizer bar, this is only with the Race Exhaust
It also changes the gauge color Yea there will be an option to remove the speed limiter, probably no tuning though.
Hey @Diamondback is it normal that my 4WD+front LSD Covet can easily overcome either the ETK AWD testing rig or the AWD test rollers? Looks like I have some coding to do!
I'm the only one experiencing stuttering on the Small Island reworked? I7 7700k - GTX 1080ti - 16GB DDR4 3200MHz and the game installed in a SSD Tested in both normal (with 2 mods) and safe mode, same stuttering happened I don't know if it's something stuck in my mind, but I've notice worse performance since this new update, is this real or it's the lockdown that's affecting me already?
Is there a reason why the Tograc 190dq uses Sport Front Sway Bar but not Sport Rear Sway Bar by default? Default for Rear is just the plain old Rear Sway Bar. Also, consider equipping the Tograc 190dq with Sport exhausts...
