    Completely agree man.
People like Improvement Pill should remember that they can't tell others what to do with their lives because they're not them.
They don't know what others want to do.
Also I fucking hate it when someone says "Do you wanna work at a restaurant all your life?" Or "Don't you wanna have a better job?" I mean seriously, what's wrong with working at McDonalds? Isn't being a McDonalds worker better than relying on your parents for money even when you're in your 20s?

Also some people just like working at restaurants. And there's nothing wrong with that either.

Reddit is pretty much a cesspit when it comes to job/college. I think people bash jobs like McDonald's because they are low paying jobs. People think that somebody will be stuck working at Burger King or McDonald's if they don't go to uni. By the way, if you think the people on Reddit are bad when it comes to this stuff. Youtube comments and Debate.org are even worse. I don't think I debunked the YouTube comments about this stuff yet. That's gonna be a disaster. By the way, if you can't work. Relying on government programs or social programs is probably better then relying on your parents.
I agree, but apparently. People want you to get a Bachleor's degree nowadays. By the way, wouldn't be ironic/funny if that chick from that Psych2Go about strong
personalities was a college nerd who relied on her parents for cash even though she had a part time job? (no offense to appesh1)

I mean I'm going into a career path that I could start with 80k (usd), full benefits and PAID TRAINING. Have I gone to collage no but I did need to get a License yes. Did I go to ""higher ed"" kind of but all it was useful training and not some 9000000 credit requirement collage shenanigans and it got me my license. I don't have a problem with people going to collage to get the right training it's all the stuff about collage (the debt, pointless collage credit classes ect) that annoys me.

Should collage be a required level of school...... no because not everyone can do collage level stuff along with the pointlessness in some career paths such as mine. I rather have conscription back than mandatory collage since you would be serving the country along with guaranteed medical, life insurance + a 401k plus if your smart you'll pick something simple such as a cook and learn something useful (I'm not saying return conscription just using it since it's a similar quality and age bracket also volunteer military's have been shown to be much better in warfare Soviet Russia vs Afghanistan, USA vs Vietnam are great examples).

Reddit is just so wonderful, isn't it? Anyways, I'm glad you don't support the idea of mandatory college either. It may be different in Europe, but mandatory college for all sucks. Anyways, goodnight.

Didn't bother watching the love yourself video. But, there's something some of you have overlooked. There's a significant difference between loving yourself and narcissism. From what I understand it was a video teaching you to love yourself more than you currently love yourself, this isn't the same as placing yourself on a pedestal above all others, but instead is basically saying don't hate yourself and beat yourself up, because those are unhealthy behaviours. Loving yourself is a far healthier behaviour than hating yourself, but it doesn't mean being a narcissist either and making yourself more important than others and being a self centered asshole.

So there we have it. Take care of yourself folks. And if you're having a bad day, just always remember the 3 H's. Hunger, hydration and hygiene. Addressing those three problems cannot fix a bad day, but not addressing them can certainly make it worse. So, 3 square meals, drink plenty (and soft drinks don't count towards plenty, I won't stop you enjoying them, but have some water too) and make sure to visit the bathroom and have a good bath/shower.

Mental health is as important as physical. Protect it

TBF, at least higher education teaches you to spell college, a collage is something else ;)

Though in general. Yes. You don't need to go to higher education to have a happy and successful life. There are definitely careers it's helpful to, and careers it's not. Plumbing, that redditor might hold in a low regard, but if we had no plumbers it would be his head going down his toilet when things go wrong. There's a lot of careers out there that seem to catch a lot of disrespect, but like, you don't want to do them do you? And someone has to do it. So perhaps they deserve the respect for doing what many don't want to. Though thankfully most plumbing jobs aren't shoving a head down a toilet and apparently you quickly get used to it (dunno, I got a degree and work in a career where I utilise my degree, which doesn't make me better than a plumber, I just don't know plumbing first hand)

I'm gonna have to disagree with you here chief. Even if you don't think that you want to go to college, it's a really smart desicion to do so. Employers value applicants with college degrees and internships and whatnot a lot more than those who don't.
College is hard, though. A degree doesn't always equate to a job offer, and the student loan debt is a bit much to handle. However, the upsides outweigh the downsides.

I think job-searching is one of the few things we can learn from boomers. Boomers make connections and talk to people in the industry, set up professional-looking resumes, and at the beginning of their careers, busted their asses at unpaid internships.

In conclusion, if you want to get a fufilling job, go to college, get a degree, contact people in the industry.

    FTFY.

A fullfilling job is different for everyone and so are the ways to get there. Trying to force people to go to college instead of letting them find their passion and their place in the world leads to more student depts, overcrowded colleges and universities and a lot of mental health problems.
Finding out what you want to do is much more important than a piece of paper. If you need one to reach your own goal, go for it. If you don't need one, why bother. That also means that educators can put more energy in students that belong there. And not in students that find out that they don't want to be in college after all. (often in a painful way)
    TLDR:
Not everyone wants to be Bill Gates

This is a very informative post. By the way, I totally agree with you on the love yourself thing. I think collage has something to do with art, but I could be wrong. Anyways, I'm glad you replied to this thread.
As your average GoAnimator would say, "I respect your opinion". To be honest, I don't have much experience with this stuff.
I absolutely 100% agree with this post. I would like to be an entertainer/video maker when I grow up. If I need university, I will go. However, I absolutely agree that forcing people to go to college will cause over crowding of colleges and universities. Not to mention that it'll cause mental health problems to. Someone on debate.org thought that not going to college would make you commit suicide. Also, the "painful way" is debt, right?

By the way @Blijo, While you're here. I would like to say that you gave some interesting information about that Pigeon mod of yours in your reply to my review. I couldn't get the water config to work, but thanks for giving me some information about the mod itself. You debunked my review well.

A problem with forced higher education is that it will make employers not care about your college degree. There are only so many jobs in the world. If everyone had a degree, then degrees will just lose their value. It works the same way as raising a minimum wage: If everyone at minimum wage gets a 5% increase in wage, then the price of bread goes up 5%.

Well, everyone. It's page 1990 now. The MAN TGS Truck is also now available for download.

    https://www.beamng.com/threads/man-tgs-euro-6.58752/

Either that, or everyone without a degree would be unemployed.

I know right, this MAN TGS truck is awesome. I don't think it works in traffic for me, but it still rocks. I was testing it out on Los Injurus and it rocks.

SuperchargedAndSavage!, What's your least favorite YouTube channel?

@KuchenVier, I'm listening to System Of A Down right now. I really like them.
@SuperAusten64, Did you do any further education after high school?
