Re: Riverside Expressway This is by far one of the best maps made for BNG (set aside from the default). You did a wonderful job mate.
Re: Riverside Expressway Ghost187 has been developing a night version, and it's looking quite good so far: (imported from here) (imported from here) FPS drops by about 30% compared to the daytime version. I'm still chipping away at the task of modeling the remaining buildings and placing road-side objects.
Re: Riverside Expressway Stepped shadows are caused by limited resolution shadowmaps. There are a few ways to fix this: 1.) Increase shadowmap resolution (which will impact performance) 2.) Increase shadow softness to 1.0 or similar. This will apply dithering to the shadowmap, which prevents stepping but looks more grainy. 3.) Use only a few lights with high resolution shadowmaps, and disable shadows for the rest.
Re: Riverside Expressway I think what Ghost gave to you updated night mod... Send from my IPhone using Tapatalk - - - Добавлено - - - I have fixed some lights... but it's looks like a rendered car...
Re: Riverside Expressway Man, looks beutiful, cant wait to burn my computer trying to run that LoL, did you do that or did the forums mess up XD
Re: Riverside Expressway: Load Location New to Beamng. The few levels I added only go in levels folder. What is changing outside of it and do many levels install outside the levels folder? Does it effect anything else. Thanks.
Re: Riverside Expressway: Load Location Welcome to the forums There is an 'art' folder alongside the levels folder which contains custom cubemaps for window reflections. I know it's not typical to modify game data outside of the levels folder, but after hours of frustration with the Torque3D material editor it was the easiest solution. I may find a way to pack everything into the levels folder for the next release, but for now you'll have to merge the art folder as well if you want to get the window reflections.
Re: Riverside Expressway If i even try downloading it my microwa-i mean computer will completly combust .
Re: Riverside Expressway Okay, so here's what I did. Tell me if this works (or can work): -First, I put materials.cs into BeamNG's art folder, replacing materials.cs with materials.cs. -I put Expressway into the Levels folder in BeamNG. Also, your map is the best city map I've seen so far!
Re: Riverside Expressway I use this and this map runs smooth as silk - - - Updated - - - There is a George st in every city here in Australia
Re: Riverside Expressway Wow, If I tried to run this on my laptop, it probably would literaly burst into flames. My laptop can barely run (aka 20 fps or less) minecraft on its lowest settings -_-, So I use my desktop for gaming.
Re: Riverside Expressway My laptop gets high 20s and stutters like a mofo in Minecraft (specs in sig) yet gets 40 FPS on this map on medium settings.
Re: Riverside Expressway I like it great map I have lots of fun drifting here and I bet itll be great when done.
