(Hey bud I can see that you are new to this thread, so all is forgiven, but $100 an hour is a bit much for a job at an auto repair shop.)

Life for me has been good. I’m contemplating moving out to the farmhouse, although it’d be expensive.

as i drive to the auto store my reckless driving comes back and bites me in the ass when i go flying into the air
    --- Post updated ---
i land the first jump but after the second i hit it at a weird angle and send the car into a nose dive. it lands hard and bends the front bumper support and bends my control arm
    --- Post updated ---
after i buy all the parts i need i head to a old abandoned parking garage. i go to the 3rd level and a neon blue and yellow car catches my eye.
"damn is that a Yenko SCC?"
as i get closer i come to the shocking conclusion
"this must be abandoned, what other reason would it be here?"
i get a little closer and is able to read the words "FREE" scribbled onto the hood in permanent marker
in a matter of seconds i attempt to open the doors. the doors open and i get that old mildew scent from a car that has not been touched in ages
"wow a complete Gavril Barstow Yenko SCC, even has the Yenko branded seat covers and the identification plaque. wow this is one Hella of a find that im surprised no one saw this earlier and took it"
i turn the key and nothing happens
"shoot, the battery must be dead from sitting for so long"
i take the battery out of my Barstow and put it in the Yenko and the engine fires up.
"oh that big block 423 sounds brand new"
    --- Post updated ---
after all this i decide that i need a place of residence. so i quit my job and decide to move to ecusa. i pack my things and rent a vehicle trailer. i load the Yenko onto the trailer and tow the trailer with my gambler.
    "ECUSA here i come"

after i got sorted and sorted thru all the trash the previous owner left i found the keys to an old grand marshal. i was tempted to throw them away because idk if the owner left a car here but out back i saw the maroon red luxe standing out and had to test if it worked. It did! i moved all 3 to a location that worked for me and got ready for the night

as i wake up i decide to explore my new property and go offroading in my barstow. after a long time exploring i start doing group b rally cross speeds down some of my dirt roads

as i am driving i get a notification. i stop and turn off the vehicle, and grab my phone. as i look at the notification i realize i must have that fleet truck.
    --- Post updated ---
after i received the notification i thought of all the possible things to make it. maybe a off-road truck, maybe a slammed sleeper, and maybe a military grade mud skipper

Today I found a car that was stolen from me over a year ago.
I was driving through the area I used to live in before moving to East Coast, and in a parking space near the apartment block, was my stolen moonhawk.

    screenshot_2020-04-24_20-37-13.png
I pulled over, and called the police.
    screenshot_2020-04-24_20-37-30.png
When they arrived, they did all sorts of legal stuff, found the thief, who just so happened to be chilling on his balcony, and ran the registration.
The vehicle was registered to my name.
I loaded it up onto my trailer and began the drive home. Time to make this moonhawk look better. (as past me was bad at cars)

(If anyone is still active here, there's a new RP Discord server: https://discord.gg/2Y8yHN7 . It's actually pretty good, with way fewer problems than the old one.)

(Yeah. The forums are still the superior platform, but with activity lowering rapidly and people being unable to join, I think it’s worth the switch.)

(That might be worth looking into. I don't think the devs would be very open to reopening groups because of the variety of issues that they've caused, but maybe. I guess I can live with Discord, but I much prefer this.)

It's been a while, and there have been some big changes in my life. The only vehicle in my fleet that has stayed the same is the Bluebuck, which is now in amazingly good condition considering that I am the owner. In addition to the Bluebuck, I have another weekend car, my Covet ZXi. I could have bought something a little fancier, but I don't want to break the bank, and the Covet is an absolute blast to drive. I love it. Then, I also have my Pessima LX with the V6. It is a bit boring, but it's reliable, cheap, and nice enough, so that's why it's my daily.

I am also no longer employed at BeamCom. They ended up shutting down the horrendously mismanaged Firwood branch that I was the head accountant at (surprise, surprise). BeamCom wanted to keep me on board, but that would mean moving back to Belasco to work at their corporate office. I like Belasco, but I'm sick of moving, and Firwood is home now. Although I now make a little less money to fuel my car-purchasing addiction, I work at the Firwood Savings Bank, which I like a lot more. Maybe it's for the best that I have less car buying money.

After a few weeks had gone by my life started to fall apart. My barstow was stollen, my luxe was vandalized, and my Yenko SSC I gave to my father as a father's day present. I scraped my fleet truck and began to wonder what was left in the world to do, I could go on a massive search for abandoned cars or I could buy a daily off someone local. I decided to buy something local and I found a old rusty abused marimar base that hasn't seen the road in more than 20 years, and it's the worthless base model. It was only listed for 200 OBO and I decided to take a gamble with it, I called up the owner and he said that the car had been imported 1 year after it was produced but he doesn't know how many owners it had after the one he got it from. I was able to talk the guy down to 125 and I bought it. He gave me just the title and said that's all he could find but he would call me back if he found the keys as I didn't want to smash a window or drill the lock out, out of fear that I would never be able to find replacement parts for it due to rarely any were imported into the states.
