WIP Beta released West Side Motorsports Park

    It's been awhile since i posted an update, so here it is.
    As I had mentioned before the goal was to have a beta released the same day as the race update. I'm not sure whether or not that will happen, it is very close but there is still some more work to do, but hopefully I can get this out the same day as the update. Devs feel free to take your time ;)
    I have decided to hold off on the Gymkhana track for know, there will likely be one for the final release but not one for the beta.

    Thank you all for your support and patience. I want to let everyone know this thread is most defiantly not dead, and a beta is on it's way. I didn't think this map would take this long to complete, but i have been focusing a lot on the details and trying to make the map look as good as possible.

    Unfortunately there is one bit of bad news, and that is poor FPS. although the map's FPS is better overall than it was before i remade the forest, it is still pretty bad. I've kind of given up on trying to make it more FPS friendly, it will probable end up being one of the most FPS intensive maps on these forums. :( Just a fair warning.

    anyways thanks again, :D I will begin editing the first post and uploading some new pictures. :)

    Looking forward to 'West Side Motorsports Park' for sure! I'm interested in getting some drive time on it. Looks like it will be great.

    Thank you, It looks better now than it does in those pictures (to lazy and busy to update the pictures). I didn't mean for this map to stay unreleased for such a long time, I thought the race update would be out a lot earlier. :p Oh well.

    Oh and look 427th post, you know that that means! ;)

    Well here it is! Finally a beta release. :D Unfortunately FPS will likely be an issue for those who don't have high performance PCs, you've been warned :p. Enjoy, and be sure to check back for future improvements and updates. :)

    lol, You can reduce the visible distance for better FPS.

    press "F11" got to "theLevelInfo" adjust the visible distance. :)

    I get lots of errors when starting the map :/

    After like 3 Million Resource Errors i got this:

    Well, looks like I've found my new favorite map before even playing it. Pure eyecandy.
    Can't wait to try this out though, I am so hyped right now. Rocking back and forth in my chair actually.

    Ok, I checked the files and every thing seems to be correct. I loaded the map into a clean install of BeamNG Drive on a different computer and every thing opened as it should (no error messages) :D

    Make sure you put the WestSideMotorsportsPark folder in your levels folder, not the WestSideMP_betaV1.0 folder.

    which folder did you use? as I said above make sure you are putting the correct folder in your levels folder or else it will not work.

    So every thing should be working now, please let me know if it works or not. Also due to it's size it's not uncommon for it to take a minute or 2 to load.

    Yes im sorry for that haha :p

    I have to say that the map lags alot on my medi-high-pc...
    Its nearly unplayable for me :(

    Anyway i came from Germany to your track... long way with the old Golf...

    Glad it's working. :)

    To bad everything I make is FPS hungry. Even back when I made maps for train simulators they were always laggy. Oh well, if the game lags.. Time for an upgrade! :p

    Also I didn't know you could drive from Germany to the U.S. ;)
