Not sure if youre insecure, immature or drunk. Kinda hard to judge from that. Can you tell me some more about you?

Theres no doubt anymore, BeamNG now has or has the possibilities of AAA game graphics content, its just awesome. Add to that, TOD is completely adjustable, no set time of day optimization of lighting, sky and what not, which would make things so easy.

    Text from vid description:

    "

Beamng is looking AAA now if you ask me. Small Islands refurbish along with the latest lighting updates theyve done really pushes it past the level.

Got my alternative Filmic Tonemapping values working real good for gaming purposes, adapted the bloom (simply just changed acceptable values in a few places) and so on so that i can use the latest DOF.

Posted the same in Development Screens :)

Testing my Alternative Filmic Tonemapping, bloom, hq SSAO and modded sky settings on Small Island. No Reshade as usual, pure game engine mods. WARNING! Sloppy driving, using my keyboard since i decided to improve my force feedback wheel by killing it.

Fiddeling about with the sky settings, just the sky brightness and sun scale, the later since i think its slightly on the large side but not sure since i havent looked into the sun that often..

I think the overall lighting could be a touch lighter, as almost all the ENB mods I see for different games have a lowered gamma, which isn't always the best choice

If youre using the vanilla postfx it should be about the same, the tonemapping code is more or less identical (not completely but no advanced changes) but the one thing thatll effect it will be the higher resolution/quality SSAO. That can be removed by just deleting a file though, when this comes out.

Im working on a pack where you unzip the files into your Documents/Beamng.drive-folder and then load the preset ingame (no external programs involved, its just stuff thats already in there, im just using other code/values/settings)

Yeah many of those overexpose and so on. Thatd be the tonemapping btw, im using a filmic one and that will make dark spots darker and bright spots brighter, thats the whole Filmic part. Ive adjusted this though so that it wont kill details in the dark/bright spots. The ingame/vanilla one is really good as it is and is overall kinder on those parts, this is more eyecandy.

Looks great, my question is, do you also experience micro stutters/ slow downs of fps in small island and east cost usa? I'm fighting with that issue since 0.19 update, only downgrading nvidia driver helped a bit, happend on win7, no problems on win 10 - much better framerate and 0 stuttering.

    Thanks man

I do on ecusa, quite heavily too but thats probably due to the downtown buildings being one single model which loads in and out as in one piece, along with drawcalls (textures) it kills my comp.
On Small Island i dont get any unless im inside the Vivace but my guess is it has something to do with the gauges.

Im on a somewhat old computer, 8gb ram, 4gb geforce, i5 2500k @notmuch so im actually surprised i get the fps i do.
    --- Post updated ---
Watched my vid on a few more monitors now and i agree, it looks darker on those than the one i use for Beamng, which is a HDTV so that probably plays a role in this. Ill have a look at what i can do about it.

Ill post the latest vids here too :)

First one is a test to see if it got less dark on a few different monitors:

This one is a test for the same thing but also to see if i got the hang of the noon brightness in Italy:

Dang, not bad. But i would suggest lowering the far blur, if you didn't change it.

Well the latest version of my mod isnt updated for the 0.19+ Beamng versions so it shouldnt work/might but not with correct result.

Anyways, those files come form a main folder called 'core' that folder and the other files/folders on that level should be placed in your "Documents\Beang.drive"-folder meaning that after youve downloaded the al.zip you need to extract them. This doesnt work as the usual mods since its not a map or vehicle.

If you sit back another couple of days ill release a new version, looking like the latest vids, until then id recommend you to delete whatever youve downloaded :)
