Sounds like a System/Hardware related problem. PCs should not restart on their own. If it was a problem software, the game would have crashed or so, but not taking down your whole system. Try to check your temperatures, make sure your drivers are up to date and run some virus scans.
Why would a virus crash the compooter when he spawns 2 vehicles, its more likely his cpu getting utilized 100% as soon as he spawns a vehicle and it overheats, but for some reason and shuts down rather than throttling. Maybe he runs out of memory so it crashes, but thats unlikely as that would probably just crash the game.
More vehicles > Higher CPU usage. A virus can totally start to cause problems when the system is doing particular tasks. On my first PC I managed to caught one that froze everything 5 minutes into any game.
no. Check your event viewer, see if there's any logs when the crash happens and as Nadeox said, check your temps. Could also be a faulty PSU. They will restart like that, and nothing will show up in the event viewer.
if he/she is using a potato computer that could be caused to the problem. I would: make sure thermal compound is not crispy make sure the computer is clean and that it is not caked in dust make sure all drivers are up to date maybe reinstall windows on another partition this will sound weird, but make sure their power button is not buggered, this can cause pcs to randomly reboot as it could be sending a signal to the computer to turn off. diagnose by unplugging the button header from the motherboard if you are using a crap power supply that could be causing the problem also, what specs are you using and does this happen with any other games? when it does restart does it shut down fully or does it just go to sleep is is a laptop or is it a desktop?
CPU draws more power because of more vehicles at the same time resulting in an elevated temperature which triggers the protection against overheating which in turn results in your PC restarting. I'd suggest to either invest in a better CPU cooler or replacing the thermal paste
My dad replaced cpu cooler after looking inside of the computer Fan was falling off of the cooler, he also found juice and melted candy caked onto some of the parts. Also, he found a hot wheels vehicle inside.
how does this happen? to be fair I have dealt with some pretty bad computers before. I work in a school as an it tech. the best thing i think i have found so far is "big chungus, the game" in a DVD drive and several screwed up troll faces all in the same optiplex 760. kids also like to put bluetac and other sticky substances in computers too. its good you have fixed it though
I mean I'm still in school, and he only has to come down from the attic (my parents room) to do so --- Post updated --- Or I would be if there weren't quarantine I can properly enjoy this beautiful quadcore PC now and Minecraft shaders (the creator of the thread c a n n o t be offtopic, cuz I said so) --- Post updated --- No...
