This is my first post so go easy on me. I have been lurking for awhile and thought everyone might want to play with this mod of a mod. I am not the author props goes to: authors Stoat Muldoon 58_gram ****Large Update*** New zip added! Turret rotates and gun fires! Everything should work as expected. I was only going to set the turret to turn 180 degrees cause a full 360 looks weird kind of "off centered". But, after a lot of testing I left it. At 180 degrees its very hard to shoot everything around you. Since the tank takes a while to turn to get it into position. I decided to leave the turret able to do a 360 rotation.
the tank has no textures for me for some reason, it's probably something on my end, but i thought i'd let you know. And the game crashes every time i fire the cannon...
A bit more polishing and hammering out some of the issues and this mod will be awesome. Unfortunately I have the missing texture issue, when I turn the turret only the barrel of the gun turns but the rest is stationary, and when firing the game crashes.
In its current state, this mod is eh. With a few wacks with a mallet and a few tubs of soap to polish it off, this mod will be a 5 star rating from me and and most others who find this gem of a mod. Best of luck with the development nyoooooooooooom
It looks like a naming issue may have been the problem. can someone else confirm this new file. thanks Update: Did a fresh install of Beam. The new zip below has a gun that now fires. It should work for everyone. The last issue is fixing all the nodes for the turret. As the gun barrel is the only thing that rotates. The Nodes issue may cause a complete redesign. May take awhile to fix.
Texture issue is fixed, but only the barrel moves and not the whole turret. Also the game crashing when shooting issue remains. This has potential for a super EPIC mod, but needs some work. Good luck!
