Dublin, Ireland map not visible in mods with "terrain" filter

I'm moving maps/levels from the Repo to the Mod filters to keep track of what I've added. I had a problem finding Dublin, Ireland. When I had filtered my Mod list by "Terrain" within by "Title A-Z", Dublin would not appear.


But as soon as I turned my filter to either "All" or "Unknown", then it would. Seems very odd as it is a map terrain. I was going to re-download it, because I thought it didn't catch and DL properly on my computer, only to find out later that it did. Why might this have happened, and is it common?

This is more of a question for the dedicated mod thread, but I think I might know the answer. *

The Dublin mod contains both level and vehicle content. It includes the Dublin map itself, but also a custom skin and config for the ETK-800 and the beer keg prop, so the mod isn't strictly either one. An official fix would be to make the search filters inclusive rather than exclusive, but as with any big project, this would probably create new problems.

That's my conjecture anyway.

*Strictly speaking, this isn't a problem with this particular level. In answer to the latter part of your question, this is pretty rare. Most maps will include a custom license plate and perhaps a skin or two, very seldom a purpose-built vehicle or prop.

 

Okay, thanks. And you know what? Every one of the maps that appeared in my 2nd picture in the "unknown" filter, also don't show up in the "terrain" filter... So it isn't just yours... yours just happens to be the one I noticed. I certainly wasn't picking on you. Just confused by it, because it made me miss it. I see I'll have to be careful and check both.

The dedicated mod thread said "this thread is more than 50 days old, don't bump to the top unless you think it contributes..". So I wasn't sure what to do. I never know how to play that sort of thing. Some forums would rather you bump an old thread, than start a new thread on the same topic. And others would prefer you start a new thread than bump an old one. I've been members of both types of forums. What's considered internet etiquette really baffles me at times.

Hmm, that might actually shoot down my theory, I don't think there are a lot of vehicles/skins packed in those mods. Perhaps there's a setting I keep forgetting to apply?

Anywho, no problem. And yeah, the forum can be kinda picky at times, but I think you're safe either way since you're having a legitimate issue.
