I actually thought it was my messed up eyes making it look all wonky and plasticky
But now people said it and I know it's not my eyes, may I say that it looks very weird?
It looks like someone took a blowtorch to it and melted it.
I assuming that you were going for a style of your own, and I respect that, but your seats right now looks like "how to get back injury 101"
I suggest going for a generic design or a slightly more normal design.

I really like it. It adds to the vibe that the car already has and it really fits the design. Even if it doesn't look practical at all, you're still doing amazing progress

You should if you can detach it using config editor, but if its one with the door then no.

 

Its a piece of the door but it would need to come off. Sort of like how a mirror is attached to a door but it can be ripped off.

 

Then you should jbeam it! But it would require a slot just like the mirror.
