a dual/quad carb straight 8, as opposed to the single carb on the 400, a bit like a hudson twin-H power.

also, if you're willing to do bodystyles, a roadster, coupe, and a woody would be suitable.

Too late, Beth Amphetamine and Mad Max-mobile already exist alongside ideas of boat motor swaps and electric drivetrains (if I can manage)

I don't really know about how to disable synchro, AFAIK the Auriga Heron mod used lua to simulate that and got outdated in an update.

yeah, sad I was way too late to party to see it. Anyway for the 500 models is there going to be special hubcaps because the current smoothies seem a bit bland for such an upmarket car

Indeed! Although I do like smoothies very much the 500s will get a more luxurious-looking set of hubcaps.

Hey can I ask what motivated you to give the Burnside (or gavril now) some love ?

Well... I once read a wonderful book by Stephen King, called "From A Buick 8", which (spoiler alert) is about a Buick Roadmaster that opens up a portal to another dimension every now and then. It sits in a police warehouse, still as shiny as ever and not gathering a single bit of dust... the grille sneering at all who come by... I fell in love with Buicks of those days, to be concise. I sort of forgot about it until after making the Cadillac Eldorado / Bluebuck face swap (which hasn't been approved yet on the repo) and was looking at the Burnside as the next target for modding. What started as a simple facelift for the Burnside turned out to be a full-blown car with a billion configs to come!

Oh god no ! That's sacrilege. Carburetted engine stay carburetted engine ! On the other hand it would handle better due to the lower centre of gravity

A Lada engine! Now that's an idea. Watered-down Burnside and car broken from factory, a match made in heaven!

You asked for it ;) Comes with a fully functional exhaust that wobbles a bit for comical effect. Weighs 3 times the V8...

i enjoy massively the utter stupidity of a bus engine in a roadmaster but also add realistic versions, taxis, an i6 (no, not the Gavril TCX engine deosn't count :) ) and police variants

I put Police and Taxi together last night, and just did an I6 engine using mostly Bluebuck mesh. I also have a period-correct stock car (which will get a Hudson Hornet style livery) and a rally version with decals influenced by the Toyota Crown rally car in the 1957 Mobiloil rally round Australia.

I have another silly idea for an engine swap: Hirochi SBR4 engine (petrol)? Civetta engine?
