I think that he suggested that FCV could stand for

    Fuel
    Cell
    Vehicle.

I had a similar idea and still would not rate it ouf of the question. After all, a fuel cell vehicle is basically an battery EV with the fuel cell adding as a range extender. You have a small battery that is recharged by the fuel cell. An efficient fuel cell fitting inside a car and being somewhat cost effective cannot match the energy demand of a hard driving EV and as such you may risk running out of battery under sustained high load.

Seing that the ability to refuel/recharge our cars is arround the corner (Gravity fuel scenario and latest refuelling/recharge mod) I would in fact estimate an increased probability for a fuel cell vehicle entering the game. After all, it does require the ability to recharge the batteries on the fly.

    Regular EV: 50 kW/h battery
FCV EV: 5 kW/h battery, 60 more kW/h available in hydrogen

Regular driving FCV EV: Battery charge is maintained at 5 kW/h as the fuel cell can maintain the needed output most of the times.
Hard driving FCV EV: Battery charge is dropping as the fuel cell cannot match the output demand of the hard driving EV. Battery is depleting to zero and the vehicle stops/becomes very slow until you have granted the fuel cell sufficient time again to recharge the battery to an acceptable level.

Technically speaking, the ability to recharge the battery on the fly independent of vehicle movement would also allow the introduction of range extender EVs. Drive electrically the first few KM and then switch to ICE.

Not sure why recharging batteries (or filling a tank) on the fly is seen as something new? This has been possible ever since powertrain was added :)

    Is this intentional?

I was suspicious that they didn't give it a double meaning, but I guess that flew way under my radar.
95% of the cars' names have double meanings

Well, the higher center of mass in any SUV is quite detrimental to high speed cornering..... learned it the hard way when switching from Vivace to Tograc in a time trial.

Technically it is already replaced. The wiki button just sends you to the old wiki. Here's the new one:

i know that, but the replacement wiki is also outdated and kinda hard to navigate

plus there isnt a real proper ''official content'' section

Oh yeah, the frigging document thing? That feels like a total mess.
OT: Has anyone else thought about a Cherrier paramedic/emergency vehicle or ambulance? Oh wait, the Cherrier is too small to be an ambulance.

The Tograc could always be made a paramedic first-response car, as those are usually crossover things.
