Oh good, I got 2 alerts for my posts getting removed. One of them was for "political matters". I clearly said I couldn't go into detail about it, but my post still gets removed. I just said I really liked and kinda agreed with a user (who's post I quoted, btw) on something and I said I couldn't go into detail about it. My other post got removed for "personal attacks". I wasn't trying to give personal attacks to anyone. I was just trying to call out someone for telling a modder to "stop being lazy and work on the mod". I felt like it was a rude comment. In my opinion, @Alieu is right. The devs want everything to be perfect. If it isn't, then it gets removed. I feel like the devs are making up false reasons to remove others posts. Look, no offense to the devs, but they should be 100% honest on why they're removing posts instead of accusing people of doing things they aren't. I can give them credit for something, though. At least they used the word "please". Look @Noah2001, I know this isn't a social media site, but the devs are removing things in off-topic, too. There's a reason users on here are migrating to Discord.
Plus, some rules are either enforced so strictly that it warps it's meaning, and some rules aren't even enforced at all.
It really does feel like they've been doing this more and more since I've joined. It's getting annoying. let me guess, this will get removed for "personal attacks" won't it?
I'm all for making the forums a good place but the recent enforcement has been a little strange, especially with the removal of informative (which, despite being explained, still baffles me).
Yeah, I know. However, I do like the fact they don't enforce the 16+ rule to join the forum. There are people who are mature enough to be on here and aren't 16+. By the way, I forgot to mention that I wrote "Credit to @Srockzz who is the best user ever". @lukastoh and @KuchenVier, How have you two been lately?
There's an inexplicable and suspicious amount of accounts on here that seem to only exist to leave bad reviews for weird and stupid reasons.
Given how cautious you've been about politics, I doubt it was your post in specific that was the problem. Remember that if you quote a post that needs to be deleted, your post will, on principle, also be deleted. Just an FYI, you can edit a quoted post so that it doesn't display its contents, e.g.: As for the other post, you may have been well-meaning, but I can totally see how telling someone to stop being lazy and work on an optional unpaid project can come across as inflammatory. No judgement—I don't know the context of that convo—but if it's likely to trigger an argument, moderators just won't take the risk of late.
Very possible. I hope it's not the case though because even if that is trolling, it's not very effective, just painfully dumb.
