Mods not appearing in-game.

I downloaded some mods and put them in my mods folder but they didnt appear so i then proceeded to put them in my vehicles folder and that didnt work either.
how do i fix up the files and make them return back to normal, there is also tons of cache files which are annoying as well.
and can someone please explain why the mods aren't installing when i followed the instructions, i know i probably did something wrong but its quite hard to figure out the cause.

 

Did you get them from another website besides Beam? I know that when you download from other sites sometimes the mods don't appear.

I simply dont trust the other sites

i installed the brz mod along with the s550 and the gt 2400

 

im sure i put them in the right place, i just drag it into the mods folder and thats it right?
sorry for stupid question but how can i tell if a folders unzipped

 

For some reason I sent one of the mods to an unzipped folder and it worked

 

There are also mods which some require 3 files how do I know which one to download?

 

If it's 3 files, for example the Subaru BRZ, you probably don't need em. Look at the names. It could be previous versions, uv file, or some unrelated parts(like the STI concept). Most of the extra files on mods are not required.
