Thank you. I think you made some really good points here. I still kinda feel like what I did was a bit wrong to some extent, but your post might be the best part of this entire discussion. I'm glad you're able to defend me even though other's aren't. I'm not even trying to defend myself here, but I'm glad you have the nerve to defend me. Also, I don't mean to be sarcastic when saying that because I'm actually serious. I mean, someone with autism who wrote something in his bio that said "Right now, I am interested in mobile homes and pretty women." and has an obsession with a forum user, Psych2Go, and pretty women is bound to have a mixed "reputation" and maybe even be "controversial".

I mean, so many users quoted that statement in their bios and signatures, it's insane. Oh yeah, I would love to point out that not only do I have autism, but I have anxiety as well. I'm also aware this forum isn't my therapist, plus I'll also point out that there are good users on here that don't tag people on here a lot (from what I can tell) that have autism such as gtaman788, appesh1, and RobertGracie. I've tagged users way too many times to fall in that category, although I'm autistic and I'm known for being kind. Yeah, some of this was just about forum stuff in general as such the recent bans and ratings getting removed, along with other stuff I mentioned about it in the op (original post). Anyways, you made very valid point and you're right that I wasn't acting in bad faith.

Also, people are correct that I'm too hard on myself and I take these forums way too seriously. I do those things a lot and I probably shouldn't. I just wanna do better. I've written crappy posts that users like the guy I tag too much have called me out for. I should do better. Maybe I shouldn't take things so seriously. I do have autism, but I said time and time again that it's not an excuse for what I've done. Yes, it's a valid explanation. However, it's not an excuse. There's wonderful users on here with autism that don't tag people like crazy. Anyways, I would love to hear your thoughts on this this. I've written an essay/book here and I think it's time I go ahead and end this post. Have a good day everyone.

UPDATE: Oh yeah, btw. I don't think there's anything wrong with liking Psych2Go chicks or women in general. The same thing applies to men.

Anyways, I know that I'll get a lot of flack for tagging. I will say this. Tagging is a great feature. Sadly though, it can be overused as you probably know from this whole situation. Oh yeah, I did mention earlier that I would randomly "promote" off-topic threads I made. However, I put them in bold text and reduced the font, along with not giving a link because I didn't know have to copy links and put them in posts back then. Heck, I didn't even know how to change my profile pic and when I was starting here. I didn't even know how to quote posts. I'm getting better, but I still have a long ways to go.

Go ahead and call me out for tagging guys. Oh yeah, thank you to all 44 of my followers.

 

I just read a couple of your posts and then this thread and thought I had to say something. Taking criticism seriously and trying to improve oneself is a great way to handle it but you really shouldn't put yourself down like that over something as small as tagging people a lot.

Frankly, long as your bio doesn't address anyone directly, it's nobody's business. There are smaller reasons for people being targeted in online communities, and given how riled up the forums have become recently it's no wonder. I don't want to go into detail on my thoughts about the forum changes and user bans however, since I feel most has been said already and I don't want to get involved with that drama personally. I'm here because I love the game and enjoy the extra engagement with other players. It's just sad when the community divides itself like that.
Dealing with anxiety and autism combined sounds tough, but keep going! I think it's cool you are an active user here engaging in many conversations. The forums are no therapy but I feel like a community like BeamNG's should try harder to lend a guiding hand for members who have it tougher than others.

Have you come up with some sort of regulation to your tagging behaviour? Maybe it's helpful to write down your thoughts here, so people also can politely refer to your own writings when calling you out instead of getting unnecessarily angry.

Just wanted to say that I'm proud of you guys. Being able to openly talk about your flaws, autism. For some it's difficult, for some it's not.
Other people should also be more aware that a person could have some issues, so that arguements don't happen. Because for some reason, not everyone knows about autism, and what it does..

I myself have minor forms of autism and ADD/ADHD. I've learned to 'surpress' (in a way) most of the issues that come with them, but still, sometimes I struggle and sometimes bad things can happen.

 

Well, yeah. Although I definitely feel like "the Sr" dude is the victim here. I think tagging is great, but I shouldn't tag people who aren't responding to me 5,000 times. TheAdmiester did make some good points about this, despite the fact I disagree with him on this whole thing not being "drama". Maybe I shouldn't put myself down over it, but I probably should've done a lot less tagging in general.

Back when I was GWMan, I put a list of users on my bio that I like/respect, but it's not there anymore. The state of forums hasn't been the best, although things got a lot better after the Shiokarai drama ended. We're still dealing with people getting riled up about me tagging. Yes, it may not be drama, but it seems like it's just a bit more then users just simply feeling bothered by constant tagging. That's my opinion, but I'm pretty sure I had it coming. Now, people can argue that I did this in the past and I didn't get called out for it, but that was before a certain user discovered me. Oh yeah, and no. It's not Srockzz. He discovered me when I wrote that awful text wall post on Update Speculation Thread when I was Gman White. It's someone else who's post is actually at the top of Page 2 of this this thread. It's the first post you see when you go on Page 2 of this thread.

Very good point, I also think people should explain to autistic users in full detail as to why not to ask for mod release dates and tell them the answer you'll get is when it's ready. However, try to go a bit easy on them especially if they're new to posting here just like I was back in November 2019.

I think I should only tag users if it seems like a topic they're interested in and they're active. The problem is that I bothered a certain user while he wasn't posting a lot, and I should've left him alone instead. For example, right now. Right now, the Sr dude isn't active. So, I should leave him alone. Maybe I'll tag him once more when this whole "tagging drama" dies down and he's active and has been posting on here very recently, like a few hours ago or less. I definitely believe this tagging thing is drama, though I believe I had it coming. I mean, it's fine if other users don't think the tagging thing is drama, but I kinda feel like it is, tbh. Does that give you a good explanation?

I'm not sure I have ADHD or not, but I think I have autism. My mom took me to a professional or whatever and the professional said I had autism. I'm not sure if it was a doctor, but I think it was a medical professional. I don't think having autism is a bad thing at all. I don't believe it's an excuse for being mean to other users or even just tagging users a lot like I did. I'm not saying tagging others is a bad thing, but you can over do it. I over did it and look what happened.

Anyways, that's my response to these 2 users.

I didn't want to be involved in this, but I want to tell you a couple things. There's no need to be so overly obsessed about this. No one's mad at you, and you're not being mean to anyone. They're simply just asking you to not tag or reply to them so frequently, because it can get annoying to have so many unnecessary notifications. That's all there is to it. You just keep dragging this on and on for no apparent reason. You're especially WAY, way too obsessed with what Srockzz, some dude on the web that you don't even know IRL, thinks about you. The dude only asked you to stop tagging him all the time from what I've seen. Quit obsessing over something so little. Go outside, enjoy life.

 

Believe it or not, I have been going outside, though maybe I should do it more. I have said before that I like chatting with the user, but I shouldn't be so obsessed over him. This situation has gotten to point where I've been making Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk fan fics joking about me tagging Srockzz. Also, if I had a dollar for everytime I brought the user. I would be richer then Jeff Bezos. Oh yeah, I actually did go outside a bit as of me writing this post. I've also been thinking about what my next username will be. I'm thinking I'll go with Crash58, but we'll see. It's not gonna be very soon. It'll be a good 4-5 months at least and I'm not even sure I'll ever do it again.

Anyways, I don't wanna write a book here, so I'll end this.
