Mine is Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005. I remember that I got it as a gift from my uncle. It was my first NFS game and I loved the atmosphere that it had. I used to drive around the map aimlessly with my Mustang (The only car that I hadn't got impounded). Funny thing is that a friend of mine once borrowed the game from me and he completed the blacklist before me. I've completed it 6 years later.
Well, my favorite Nfs is Hot Pursuit from 2010. I actually played other games like Undercover, Underground and Shift. I started playing it about 4 years ago, as a gift from my dad. I remember driving aimlessly around the map in my blue Dodge Charger. Funny story: one time when i was playing my dad came in and asked if he can do one race. I said yes and to my surprise, my dad won one of the hardest races in the game. It took me 3 weeks till I managed to do it myself. Edit: So yeah I kinda forgot about this thread
as far as the classics go, MW and UG2 are in close competition. the 3 newest games were all pretty good as well, but had their obvious flaws. (2015 had bad physics and some loading issues, payback had that awful EA inspired upgrade system, and heat's map design wasn't great, though heat's probably the best of that bunch)

My first NFS was ProStreet (Wii) and I've played every NFS since minus Payback and I must say that I really enjoyed my time with Shift and Shift 2. I also enjoyed the series reboot in 2015 and am enjoying my time in Heat right now.
my best game is Need for speed 3 the rivels. the graphics and design are awesome and the maps are really great. really awesome to play and it will refresh our mind.
OG Most Wanted. I bought 2012 Most Wanted with one of my first paychecks and it was so awful I still sometimes get upset when I remember about it under the shower. My roommate has identical story but for Vita, minus the shower part.
Need for speed High Stakes PC version (for anyone who post need for speed hot pursuit 2 or older games please state what game console version due to massive differences in gameplay). NFS High stakes PC version was a carbon copy of NFS 3 hot pursuit but with tons of new features. Damage, more cars, a real career mode tons of side missions and all the old NFS 3 maps and new ones. This not to say High Stakes had no flaws because it had a few. Police AI was more realistic than hot pursuit at the cost of them not being as aggressive when they spot you (because damage idk why people forget that). Police AI refuse to turn around in tunnels for no real good reason and spike strips are much less effective. Racers have the same ai as hot pursuit so if you can drive good the ai even in a McLaren F1 will get busted while you drive a BMW Z3 (E36). But with all that said NFS High stakes is in my personal opinion the best NFS game.

For me,Need For Speed:Underground 2 is the best. I like 00s tuner cars,they are different from ricers.I am waiting for the remastered edition(lol that's impossible because now people don't like 00s style)

i remember playing the crap out of the carbon demo back in the day but the one I remember most is the original shift game. the driving felt so realistic then lol
