Update Speculation thread

Hmm, i just had a thought about the prerunner pickup.
it's quite common for prerunners to get the fascia of a newer truck put on them, with the same old cab (such as the 1996 silverado with a 2018 silverado grille/headlights below:

what if the speculated 2003 van fascia (though there is no evidence to suggest it exists yet) gets put on the D series prerunner?

Not much of a speculation, but how new is this roofrack thing on the Hopper?

 

With all the work that had to go into that, it's practically a brand new car. I don't think we'll be getting the wendover this update.

 

Remember, there's a whole team working on this game. And by the info we've got so far, I think Ferretank is the only one working on the D-series prerunner/crawler.

So far we've been alternating new car/major addition to old car. Between that and the fact the next update is 3-7 weeks away, I doubt we will be seeing a new car.

I think we might be getting it in the next update as we usually get cars every two updates,for example we got the bluebuck in 0.17 and we got the vivace in 0.19

 

While am not into the 4x4 scene. I love the hopper. This D-series update is gonna be sweet.

I wonder if the H series van gets more updates. And if the online 6 engine mesh is updated

 

I also really hope for a I6 engine update. As someone who does not live in the V8 nation, I6's and I4's on pickups seem much more reasonable to me. Besides, the torque curve on the in-game I6 is higher than the stock V8's in the low rpms (IIRC), so it is still a viable option for certain applications (including off-roading). A long time ago I made a mod for a turbo added to the I6. It probably doesn't even work any more, but I still like the I6.

I believe every part that is cross compatible between the D, H series that would make sense for both of them to have would be given to both, so if the D-series gets lots of parts, some of those parts would find their way to the H-series. Here's a quote from the 0.19 update log that supports that idea (not a confirmation by any means- it probably would be done only to parts that make sense on both vehicles)

 

I am wondering if we will get working refuelling/charging stations next update. Seing that it is both possible in scenarios and with a mod, I am not quite sure why they are not adding it.

 

No offense, but I didn't hear much about working fuel stations, tbh. I hope they get added, but anyways. You're not sure why working fuel stations won't be getting added with scenarios? Tbh, it might depend on the scenario itself. I could be heavily wrong about this.

It worked fine with it... a bit cumersome in terms of UI interface but it worked.

Welp, the devs may not have said anything about them but having one as a mod & in an official BeamNG scenario could lead you to believe they will be added to freeroam sooner or later
