Mods, answer this.

I agree with this. I don’t think that bad quality meshslaps should be on the forums. If someone actually puts effort into their first mod, with a custom model and J-Beam, I think it should stay even if the mod is bad. However, if the mod uploaded is shit and the effort put into it is next to non, I don’t think it belongs on this website.

but the moderators is okay with reuploading mods?
Becuase they don't ban leakers and reuploaders.

Not long after the 944 porsche was uploaded the rules changed for content uploaded to the forum, I didn't see the raptor thread but if it was a model from another source without perms it would be against the rules.

Honestly, threads like this are why i never come here anymore, some of the users on here are always looking to stirr up drama about everything and anything, The beamng "community" has just devolved into a bunch of children screaming at each other.

My Take: With me , I approve of this: , but what i think is not good is when the devs take the mods down and kinda saying "go get a virus from STshitmods.RU". I'm tired so not much info, but yea,

 

The mods have the right to take down whatever they want on their own platform, they are not responsible for you or others going on shady websites to download something they removed because it broke the rules.

 

I think if you're stupid enough to download shitty mods then you're stupid enough to get a virus. So you may as well get the virus downloading awful mods instead of from somewhere else. The forums shouldn't have shitty mods to protect the dumbasses who download them, its natural selection. If you want crap it shouldn't be given to you on a silver platter IMO.

If it has low quality meshslaps on it I see no problem in removing it from the forums. As for anime, a lot of people don't want to see that. I don't want to download a car mod only to get a bunch of animated pornography in my face.

 

I never said that I would download from those sites, im talking about the other guests on this forum, what if a 9 year old viewing this forum as a guest?

Im not. Im just saying, you know, for the mods to kinda give a real reason on why they deleted it.

 

Then the 9 year old is gonna get a good lesson, about not downloading from bad sites.

The reason the mods get rid of them is that they are bad quality.

 

The community is getting out of hands, its getting really bad, a bunch of private modders left to thanks to the leaker we all know in love. NOT

could be done with the Community too, its gone tooo far as of this goes. Cant believe the modders have to suffer there mods getting reuploaded to third party websites.

Also the person who is deleting this whole thread doesnt get it, why the hell do you not do anything about helping and instead supporting leakers and reuploaders.

Children that young probably shouldn't be allowed to download things from the internet. If the parents don't know how to set up administrator account to create a safe one for children, then thats on them. Let the natural selection happen, the BeamNG moderators shouldn't be forced to keep subpar or sketchy content up for download on the repository or forums.
