Everything is Translucent and no sound

Hello,

this is a bug i could reproduce by udating beamng twice (over night).
I have no sound and everything, the car and the map, are kinda translucent.

Everyone else with this problem with the prerace update? Am i missing an option?

Its reproducable on every map and i started the game several times. The Updater is only seeding...

Every other aspect of the game is running well.

 

I have only one thing missing in the game - sound when simulating. In menu there is a sound.

Managed to solve!!!

In the sound settings, the pre-selected sound device is not always actually your sound device. You must check that.

Thanks! That was exactly origin of the sound problem and changing the audio device helped.

So there is only this wierd transparent environment bug.

I kinda solved it.

After changing the quality multiple times ingame, the transparency was gone.

How did you fix it? The only way for me is turning down the lightning effects to low. It looks really ugly!

 

I'm not sure how I fixed it (i was just playing with the graphics-options ingame),
but I can toggle it by act/deactivating the HDR-Option Ingame.
Does deactivating HDR helps?

 

have the same problem but for me it only works with lightning quality "lowest"
