I've noticed there aren't really that many YouTube videos on how to mod for beamng. I thought I would make my own series! I'm probably gonna forget a few things, or make a few mistakes, but I'm only human, and this series will still hopefully help people with making their own mods! Part 1: Starting the modeling process Spoiler: Part 1 This will be a very long series. Uploads are every Friday and Tuesday. Thanks! Hopefully, this helps some people out.
Can't wait the video on my biggest nightmare : te chassis modeling !!! (great video dude, i find this is a really cool idea to help other peoples who have struggles GG !!!) <3
Thank you so much for this. I've spent many hours pouring over the wiki, only to end up learning more (and still not that much) from looking into someone's actual mod. As an aside, and it doesn't have to be immediate because I'm sure you're busy, would there be any possibility of you creating a video documenting how to make a simple car? Like this wiki page documents, but for the latest versions of blender and BeamNG? My main confusions are color and power train, so maybe you will get to those here, but either way it'd be nice to see someone who knows what they're doing do it. Edit: it looks like you will, but I don't know whether it will be for the whole car or for just a part, so I will eagerly wait and see!
This series is basically teaching everyone the components on how to make a car model based on a stock BeamNG car and put it into the game. Hopefully it touches on your problems eventually. New episodes every Friday
I know sometimes I miss things, but I know the 24th was a Fri, so is the rest only on your youtube page? (I thought you'd update the first post)
It takes like a week to make these videos and i only get like 100 views so i just got sick of it very quickly
The first video is at 240 and your top video is 281, so just let the views come in - this is something people want, despite the fact that possible modders are fewer than possible mod-users. It won't be as popular as one of your better mods, but will be helpful and appreciated.
True but i really hate editing them with all my heart. Its such an annoyance to edit the videos for me If i could find someone to edit the videos for me for free it would be a life changer and i would totally be recording better content and stuff because i would have the time and energy
Well... once I end up finishing up the B1, I also had plans to do a full blown tutorial... I thought when I saw this thread that I might not have to do it... but looks like I am still going to do it.
Hey, the more the merrier, right? Especially with the different types of vehicles, it will be good to have two perspectives.
Speed modeling videos aren't really meant as tutorials. It's P_enta's fault for labeling it like a tutorial, yet not even going "in depth" as he says he has in the video.
