I hope there's gonna be some sort of model t type car. I know there's mods, etc. I mean look, the game has basically every era of auto

The Arigua Heron mod works again, but it's not all that great. CrashHard is coming out with a 30's hot rod mod, and there's always the automation cars. Wishful thinking I guess

 

No, beamng hasn't really a need for a prewar car at the moment, I'd rather say it would need a 2 seater roadster or a classic European utility vehicle (truck/lorry or van) but this ain't the overused vehicle suggestions thread.

 

What I said was not in the game. I'm not saying there aren't mods which there are.

 

I don't know if I'm right, but I think that the Soliad Wendover isn't necessary to be in this game, because (I'm not sure, but) it's another 80s american midsize FWD sedan like LeGran, which isn't really popular car I think. I would be very happy if there comes some British car brand or some prewar car

 

Here's my take. Personally, I think the Soliad Wendover would be better idea for the game then a pre-war car. Now, I would love a pre-war car to get added the game eventually. I just don't think it would be a good idea right now. Also, about whether or not the Wendover is necessary. I have no business commenting on that.

 

It's not going to be a midsize, it'll be a fullsize (possibly a personal luxury coupe). We don't know anything about it other than it'll have two doors and a V6 from the LeGran (and remember, the modern Gavril V8 is already in four vehicles). It could have a different powertrain setup, like the Covet and Pessima do, and any number of things not seen on the LeGran or any other car before—a convertible top, air suspension (bus excluded), a digital dashboard, etc. It's not fair to assume it'll just be another LeGran with two fewer doors—if it was, I don't think the devs would bother releasing it.

Also, just because the LeGran is lacking in content (and mesh quality) doesn't mean it's unpopular. It's one of my favorite vehicles in the game, and I know many other people on the forums that love it as well.

 

Good to know. I didn't know so many things about it and it's just my opinion.
I just still can't get why do you all think that prewar or old car wouldn't be good idea. There could be many body and frame variants so it would be goodly customizable...
And another question: where was the van remaster mentioned?

 

Nothing that adds to the game is "unnecessary"
Its not just a coupe version of the LeGran. Its far different, its a coupe, and more sport or luxury oriented as it seems.
You cant just write off the wendover as worthless cause its sort of similar to another vehicle.With that logic they shouldnt have ever released the Roamer since it shares frames and suspension and drivetrain with the pickup.
In response to SuperAusten, I agree, the LeGran is one of my favourite cars. You can make it stupid fast with minimal effort, or you can hoon a base model on dirt roads. Its fun.

 

Personally, I would love to see the Wendover in the game. I think it would be cool. I mean, I'm not even sure the Wendover is a sedan. I could be wrong, though.

The old 2012 concept was a sedan, but they eventually said they would change it to a coupe for more verity

Definitely not this update I think, we've already got D series prerunner, Port and Industrial rework, adjust on WCUSA...
