Released Labrador Beaver 8x8 1.2

I've been showing this thing a bit on discord, but I think it's now time to create a thread for it.

An all purpose amphibious 8x8 off-road vehicle inspired by the Argo 8x8.


Capable of moving around both on land and in water, using jbeamed paddle tires


On land the 8 tires and low weight make it quite capable when it comes to off-roading.

it looks great, but give us more details engines, trannys, interior. Also mabye i'm missing something but it should "WIP" but it's showing "Released"

 

where i can download it

 

Uses a pigeon I3 along with a CVT. The real thing uses a similarily powerful V-Twin, but since I didn't want to deal with making sounds or an engine model, the pigeon i3 fits in nicely.

Interior is fairly simple but functional.


It should be available on the repo when it gets approved.

I've changed the title to "WIP" for now.

 

It's WIP and dude, give a nice comment and don't write instandly "where download" Maybe a nice comment like "Great work so far" or something like that. They put hard work in a mod and then they have to see people like you... That's Dissrespectful.

 

The topic used to be marked as Released. Hopefully all these responses will be cleared when it's released to the repo :/

 

As Dummies said, I put it as released at first.

Should be available for download as soon as it gets repo approval. I tend to make threads when very close to release.

 

Can I ask what inspired the name? Looks awesome!

 

For the brand I just wanted something that made some sense for a Canadian manufacturer of ATVs and similar things.

And for the name it's because it's an amphibious utility vehicle, with the beaver being known for living both on land and in water, and building stuff.

 

OKay, i understand, I just wrote that cause I hate it when People just say "where download" that's dissrespectfull, so much work and the creators need to read those comments. But yea, forgot the treat was at "release" Im sorry for that, but still. ^^

hm for some reason when i try to steer it just stops. How am i supposed to steer then??

 

Just keep steering.

Because it has a lot of traction and brake base skid steering, it tends to bleed a lot of speed if you try to turn on asphalt.

On dirt that's not really a problem.
