It was my great uncle, but yeah. And by the way, most non luxury cars like his had a plastic horn button instead of a chrome ring.

Actually that was a more common thing coming into the mid '60s and even then few companys and cars had them, most notably AMC. And oh I see

I rate this Cuba/10. I would love to see some kind of cuban engine conversion where it's an inline 4 from a covet or something. This looks awesome.

That actually already exists in the DPMP config pack, a Cuban Burnside with an i4 swap, and if you download that mod you can use the engine in my mod too I'm pretty sure (only doubts I have are that I hope it accepts my own Suit exhaust, but if it doesn't, you can PM me when it's released and I'll add a compatible exhaust!)

Cool! Do you have a link for that? It would genuinely become a full on cubamobile.

Now that you've caused me to look at the page of the link I've just given you, I noticed that I (as well as any other modders) have permission to use stuff from it, so maybe I could integrate his ported i4 and i6 engines into my mod (it would save me lots of time and work that I would have had to do on my own, just to achieve the exact same result). So...what do you guys think I should do?

    BIG PROGRESS UPDATE!!!

I finally managed to get in-game those crappy fabric-looking seats that were requested, using a high-res custom texture to get these results(!):

I even made body-colored ones! (Discovered purely by accident, as I thought using vehicles\common\null.dds as a color map would result in the seats staying brown like in the texture in the image, but it instead made it so that a body-color hue was placed on top of the texture)
    screenshot_2020-08-06_18-15-05.png
I also made an engine (still waiting for approval from its original creator) from DPMP's i6 engine, with edited power/torque curves (it's 215 cui, so slightly crappier stats) and I have a compatible exhaust for it, and I also gave it much better sounds, specifically from the Moonhawk's i6!

Also, I've made custom (so basically, crappier) brakes and a full set of suspension components for both front and rear!

I think I'm gonna make a beater config for it, too - I've already developed a beaterized version of the Suit i6 engine, and, on top of that, I made blown Suit front brakes that may or may not be able to stop the car quickly enough to avoid accidents!

Please let me know what you guys think, especially with the seating because I never thought I could even make it to that stage (of applying and UV mapping custom materials, aside from lettering)!

How is progress coming along? also i didn't say it at the correct time but the seats look really good.
Might i suggest something? The 3 on the tree could be without syncromesh, just to enhance the 50s basic car feel
