As much as I love the devs & the game, I have to agree on this, as in some areas the Cherrier feels a bit unfinished as you said. It almost makes you feel as if it was rushed to be included in the update, but I get it, modeling such a detailed & technical car takes a lot of time so I'm not mad about that part, but some of the choices in the files make me ponder a bit... Mainly, the yellow-ish normal maps. I know that might not be a big issue because the devs might have used a special way of creating the normal maps or something, but from the last time I've seen something like that, I always was under the impression that a yellow-coloured normal map is a bad one, but in this case it seems to work fine  Some smaller issues can be found here & there, but it's fine 98% of the time :p

It's some torque vectoring stuff it has. I made a version mimicking a Veloster N, give it a shot if you want. Gave it a LSD, normal front ARB and stiffer rear ARB (like they did IRL with the sport package), as well as the stiffer dampers, etc. Gave it the lighter panels and windows just to bring the weight down more in line with the N as well. And gave it a realistic alignment like if you'd put aftermarket camber bolts in.

Oh and if you dont have the CJD parts mod, just put the Tuned Exhaust in or something.

EDIT: Updated the link with the right build lol

I was suprised when the developers released the last major update. I would have expected it 2 -3 weeks later.

I have a hunch, that being right into the corona lockdown that they decided to release it a bit early to give people something to have a good time with. I am quite grateful for the last update and gladly overlook some minor details.

Well since the cherrier has two types of variants, hatchback and the crossover, it's quite a bit of parts just for the car.. compared to the etks, such as the k series or the 800 series.. they just have a specific coupe or the wagon version respectively.. the other cars don't have as many different parts tbh..

the problem with your thinking is, premium saloons/coupes dont tend to have much aftermarket support
and the vivace is made for a wide market and so has a lot of tuning parts
also give us a bare carbon hood for the vivace pls

As I understand it, in an electric vehicle, this scale should display the dynamic load on electric motors. In the game, it does not work on load, but simply displays how much the gas pedal is pressed.
With an increase in the speed of the electric motor with a constant position of the accelerator pedal, the load on the electric motor should decrease!
In fact, what we have now on the display is just an indicator of pressing the gas pedal.
To put it simply, this display is an ammeter, and it cannot work linearly with the gas pedal!

Yep, that's exactly how it was designed to work.

I dont quite understand the issue? The "gas" pedal shows you how much of the current generated power potential you are using? It does not show current and peak motor power but than one might say that such an "show power" isnt very useful outside of technical interest.

At very high RPM and considering the used electric motors (@Diamondback what type of electric motor is simulated btw and is it the same for ESBR and Vivace?) torque curve, engine horsepower output is lower than at lower RPM but the principal relation stays the same.

50 % load of a 196 HP engine means 98 HP generated (if you leave aside some real life secondary factors)

At high RPM this engine may only generate 120 HP so at 50 % load that results in 60 HP.

The current "gas" pedal shows you how hard the engine is working in terms to its current peak power output... seing that you cannot shift into a differerent gear with an EV this information is the most valuable as even if you can see that power output at 12000 RPM is lower it is not like you can do anything about it.

This is bit annoying for me:
You can't see the afterfire with any other exhaust except race exhaust. There is afterfire but on the end of pipe instead of tips which are hiding it...

I have an idea for the electric Vivace and Tograc, I know it already has a screen in the car but I was thinking maybe there can be a hotkey where it allows you to switch through the different menu options. So what I was thinking, this is my first idea
There should maybe be a hotkey to switch through the different menus on the tablet ( Similar to the Tesla) One menu option maybe should show you a little version of the suspension damage, battery, damage to the outside of the car, Ect. (Similar to the Toyota Prius)
Second idea. I was thinking where the speedometer is, maybe in the corner, there could be a diagram of just the engine.
I don't know I was wanting maybe that to be a feature or something but I do know you guys are a small group of people. So it's just an idea.

You also might be able to do it to the normal Vivace's and Tograc's.

i think it would be cool if the dashboard changed when drive modes were changed. like in real life peugeot and other cars.
    --- Post updated ---
it would also be cool if when you put both gas and brake on at the same time it would engage race start of some sorts. it would be cool if it said on the screen "Race Start"

That's NOT torque vectoring, torque vectoring does not exist in BeamNG-official vehicle at this time(0.20.2).

I really like this car. Grown on me a lot, and fills in the slot where current sedan/ hot hatches were missing.
Hope to see a 2020 sedan or something, completely Uk inspired design and branding would make it interesting.

Wrong, There is torque vectoring! The Cherrier Tograc (as an example): As its an I.C.E, it uses its brakes to lock the wheel with least traction and sends power to the wheel with most traction.

But also, the Vivace (On higher trims) can do that also since they share the same AWD systems but with different TC systems.
but as that one isn't made for offroading, it means the torque vectoring can be used to turn the car more sharply. (you can even notice that there's some brake action when turning at high speeds, if you have the brake temp app, of course)

pretty much every mid-trim new car does that nowadays.
