I'm doing that rn lol, before I updated on steam I made a copy of the steamapps\BeamNG.drive folder and renamed it to BeamNG.Drive_v0.19.4.2 to avoid conflicts, and only after that did I allow steam to update the regular BeamNG to v0.20
I am having an issue with the hood on the D-Series, doesn't spawn in, nor does it in safe mode. Anyone have a solution? I have the I6 Cut hood, cowl induction, and that is it.
The AI mode button does not actually change the AI either, it is possible to use the radial menu to change the AI mode and the Traffic app to change the parameters thankfully.
I have an issue where the air filter on the Romer bends easily when you bottom out the suspension on rough surfaces. It pokes through the hood and looks weird. All my mods have been deactivated. Anyone else having this issue?
I noticed, the car's sound are loading a bit slower than the 3D car. This causes a bug: I tried to driver a Hopper (blue, default) when its sounds are doesnt loaded yet. After all the car sounds for hopper (crash, engine, etc.) are gone. Weird bug, but not too big.
So I'm not sure if it's a bug or I was doing something wrong, but there seems to be an issue in the World Editor 2.0. I started making a map and imported a terrain using heightmap, and after this the editor "froze", I couldn't edit the terrain and I couldn't save any changes, moving stuff around still worked though. Saving never worked, I tried a few times, it would generate some files in the wrong folder but they wouldn't work when put in the correct one manually (of course after editing all the json stuff and file names), sometimes the game would even crash. I tried this many times, and then I checked the old World Editor. No issue there, everything saved properly and it's not "frozen". This only happened after importing terrain from heightmap, now everything seems to work again and it saves properly in the 2.0 editor too.
notice please the grand marshal is completely broken and spawning it bricks the game d-series hood is visible but disappears after reset + the engine textures on the d-series and hopper are broken some trees suck in cars when crashed into i have tried safe mod and sisabled all mods but still these issues are present
I don't know if this is on the radar at all for later, but the GTz miramar still only has a straight-pipe exhaust.
NOT ONLY MODS CAN TROUBLES! I've found the issue for ETK 800 (but not only I guess) then changing headlight mode leads to weird lightings. I was starting to remove some mods to find the trouble one. Then I had NO ONE mods enabled the ISSUE STILL WAS in place! ("clear cache" was executed too) Further investigation had show that "SETTINGS" folder inside "BeamNG.drive" user ones leads to the issue. I delete that folder and regenerated new one resolves the issue. (Certainly the "cloud" folder was trouble). I wonder that this kind of potential trouble not even described in any troubleshooting's lists. I kindly ask to developers explain that case. Also I ask to explain what exactly does "CLEAR CACHE" function and why it moves certain folders into the "backups" folder? Are the custom folders inside "BeamNG.drive" folder affect to using them in the game?
I noticed significant changes in the impact sounds They are weak, because: - Lack of low end energy: In reality, a hard impact is very loud, strong, penetrative and can be heard from far distance. Low frequencies spread with high energy and can't be absorbed by anything, so we perceive them much louder. Also in reality, sound effects are not parts of a music composition, so I recommend not to compress and Hp filter everything, because the unprocessed, raw sound is ALWAYS more natural, while compression and cutting everything below 100Hz is against realism. I think the complete sound fx section could be raw, unprocessed, as brutal as it would sound in real.
On the D-Series extended short body, the (single and double) roll bar accessories are positioned too far forward.
Everything disappears when I enter the Mesh or Decal road editors in the old level editor. This does not happen with the new editor.
The 4.1L inline 6 carburetor model only shows up in safe mode. When I simply disable my mods, it doesn't show up.
